    Just picked up the RX-7 two days ago. I also shot the Ventum Pro 30, the V3X and Solution SD. In my opinion, the RX-7 is worth the money. That being said, a small shop was selling it for $1499.99. That was the difference maker in my case. Back wall is solid, hand vibration is almost nonexistent and it was a great upgrade from my 2012 Hoyt Rampage XT.

    The most funny and same time incredible think it that in previous videos he tested Hoyt torrex XT one and I think the torrex xt is the only bow with the spec that actually at the test point show exactly as manufacturers spec and at 70lbs is as fast or faster that others flag ship Hoyt bows .why pay 💰 1000& or 1900 .I have bear bow 70lbs and torrex xt 70lbs both good bows but torrex xt way harder to pullback but there comes a speed and I called the torrex xt sniper as super accurate at 25 yards first pin inch bull eye

    Thank you for all your videos and knowledge just had a question about that chronograph cause I have the same one do you use the lights on it im asking cause I was building a 3d arrow and out of my v3x without the light on it seemed to less consistent I used the same arrow 3 shots without the light were 294 292 and 290 all same arrow I then turned the light on and got 296 296 and 295

    JJ, I wonder if; like the included stabilizer, they test the bows at Hoyt without the limb dampening rubber? I'm curious to know if this get's speeds on different bows a little closer to the advertised speeds? Could be an interesting test.

    The RX7 is now on par with the Mathews regarding dead in the hand, quietness but the RX7 is a bit under its IBO. The Levitate does not feel as nice, is not as quiet but is hitting it’s IBO and some people are getting above IBO speeds. Just my thoughts

    I think bow companies are testing their bow speed without the limb dampeners. That could raise the speed substantially, since speed comes from the power stored and released from the limbs. Those dampeners have to take away some power to work.

  • @toddlymburner5783

    @toddlymburner5783

    2 жыл бұрын

    No that wouldn’t make up that big of a difference! That’s not good speeds and it was tested at 71 pounds so it’s probably 18 FPS slow. That’s a little to much. The Ventum was closer to the advertised speed. This year a fe bow companies I think really went to far lying about the speed. They all wanted to make quiet vibe free bows and chase feel but sacrificed a little to much speed.

    @@orlandoagostinho6615 they lie. They all have kinda embellished it usually by 5-8 FPS. This year Hoyt and Bowtech have gone to far and fudged the numbers by 15-25 FPS which is to far! People are now wanting quiet, no vibe bow so companies are doing that but having to sacrifice some speed to make it vibe free. Then they are lying and saying it still shoots 340 IBO which is not true.
