I disagree to all the negative comments, this is by far the most elegant and hottest car in its class. The shape, the roofline, the back, the wheels, everything on this thing is sexy. Keep in mind this is the competitor to the 5 series or E-Class. This looks more like a CLS with the price of a C-Class (when similarly equipped)

How the hell did you get access to the Sport model so soon? My wife and I have a 2018 G80 Sport. I think it looks more sporty than the 2022. I'm not seeing much of difference from the regular 2022 G80. The GV70 Sport Prestige seems like the better option when she decides to upgrade.

The regular G80 has the 3.5T engine too what's the difference between this and the regular G80? Both have 3.5T engine, is it just tthe steering wheel? This was supposed to have at least 400hp

Nothing on this car screams sport.... Don't get me wrong I love the G80 but if this is the sport I will be looking for a 2018 G80 Sport for a lot less. It just looks more like a sport sedan. Question... Hyundai has one of the most efficiate Turbos on the market why will they not add two of them to the 5.0 V8? I have the 2013 Genesis 5.0 R-Spec Sedan. With an exhaust and trac control mod I am 0-60 in 4.8 seconds.

@@patricksutfin9374 I read that as well. I also only paid $15k + taxes, fees, & shipping with only 46k miles on it. After seeing the 2022 up close and seeing other reviews I question the 4.7.... that's a Kia stinger.... G70 time. Other reviews have it at 4.8 to 5.0 times. The torque is the difference. I could only imagine what kind of power we would see from the 5.0 running twin-turbos. As for my last statement about getting a 2018 G80 Sport.... At $31k to $34k is great but the ridiculous pricing going on now.... A 2018 with 40k miles is going for $41k+ is ridiculous.

I had a 2019 g80 sport hydroplaned wrecked it waiting for the new g80 sport to arrive at dealership to replace ... apparently the new sport is faster and way better handling than my 2019 but agree the 2019 looked more sporty

I am not in the market for a sedan, but if I was this would be up there with the 3-series and C-Class. It won't match the 3-series in performance, but the interior is nice and it has a lot of tech. Beats anything from Lexus/Infiniti/Acura .. they are blah.

I was looking forward to a upgrade in the Horsepower being a sport, I'm very disappointed......There needs to be a difference in the engine for a sport trim when you are in this luxury class. Everyone else does it, Genesis did it in the last generation for the G80, which I personally have. Having that twin turbo in the sport made a true difference compared to the other trims. Now they are just like Lexus and their stupid F Line. Calling a car sport only because of exterior differences does not make a car a true sports car when comparing to the other trims. Cmon Genesis! I thought you were better than this!? Also this red interior doesn't belong on a sedan of this size!

The car looks fantastic ! - except the front GRILLE - it screams - SUCKER !! It is just one more gas-burning oxygen-sucking machine to spew out pollution for our lungs. And the front looks very proud - like that is a great accomplishment !?!?!?

The Genesis cars look so damn feminine. Maybe that’s another reason why I just can’t love these designs. They’re too busy and somehow too bland all at the same time. It’s weird.
