Indeed it is, looking forward to seeing them play this Sept in Inglewood for the hawkins tribute..going to be emotional. We like the car so far.. the one thing I can't figure out is why the mustang emblem won't pop up on the ground as I walk up to it at night. Is there something I'm missing turning on in the settings? The option is turned on in the settings when I checked.

@@CristianoRonaldo92234 that's going to be a great show! The sideview mirrors have to be folded in for the puddle lights to show as you approach. Once you unlock and the mirrors start to unfold they turn off!

This is great, thanks so much! Sharing to my parents who are having trouble w/ the (overly crowded/complicated) Ford UI, vs my Tesla... hoping they just use the voice commands more often. Really wish all car UI designers, would do as Tesla and leave the map ALWAYS up , by default and always on, with some small app bars/menus etc? so much easier...

You're welcome! Big differences between the UI of the Tesla and the Mach E. You can use the voice commands to do most things like change temp, navigate, make phone calls etc. I'm sure they'lll get the hang of it! Curious, what model Tesla do you have and what are your thoughts on a compare between the two?

You're welcome! It's one of the settings that unfortunately keeps on resetting every time the car is reset

A very comprehensive walk round Steve. They are available over this side of the pond now and I'm considering one. As I currently drive a Ranger Wildtrak, there is a function on it that I find invaluable and that is the speed limiter. Cruise is OK, but the limiter is brilliant. Does the Mach e have that function?

Thanks Drew! It's on the short list for me for my next car too. You could setup a "MyKey" and limit the speed that way. There's no other limiter otherwise

@@spacecowboy2070 haha I've heard that from pretty much every 1st time EV owner! We kind of got the short end of the stick in Canada for BlueCruise too. It's available on a few select roads but can't wait for a fuller autopilot experience. Glad you're loving the ride!

Great video as usual. Just traded my Maverick hybrid for a Mach-e Select. Still tons of amenities for a base EV 👍

@@CarsWithSteve rwd. I literally got the cheapest one 😂. I had a few $ incentives being in California and can charge at work. Fuel costs even with a hybrid is ridiculous in this state. $2 plus higher on average than nation

Is it that you had reliability issues with the maverick and you've traded

I went to the dealership, purchased the premium 2022 for a very high price (due to market demand I guess?) of $70k. Next day got a call that I won’t be receiving my vehicle until the safety recall has been dealt with. Apparently battery overheats now. Updates doesn’t come until quarter 3. Such a bummer, I can’t wait until I get to use this everyday.

Hey Dennis, hopefully that wasn’t too much above list price. Don’t forget to take advantage of federal or provincial rebates to bring down your total cost of ownership! Should be seeing the car soon enough, think you’re going to love it as your daily driver. Is it the first time you’ll own an EV?

I only had access to the car for 3 hours to shoot this video. It was either shoot a detailed video on the features or spend time washing it to make it look pretty first and not get all the footage I needed

Most trims had it standard with the Select being option for 2021.. unfortunately the feature was removed early in the 2022 production cycle

Can the reverse beeping be turned off? I don't recall seeing an option to do that.

I briefly cover it off during the Sync4 section.. Click on the car icon on the top left Controls -- > Camera There's a button with a P and traffic cone next to it!

I was interested of ordering this EV last year once found out that not qualify for federal EV incentives in Canada that I pre order the EV6 LR AWD GT -Line packages 2 do qualify the EV incentives.

So interesting updates to the Canada iZEV program as of April 24... Canada federal incentives were pushed higher for base MSRP and options added! The Mach E now qualifies for the program for the Select and Premium trim SR RWD and AWD. The Kia EV6 is now on the list as well for the RWD LR/SR and the AWD LR! Ensure the MSRP on the bill of sale is under the $65k max with options added and you're good to claim on lease or finance

EV6 Charge from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes than Mustang Mach E at 45 minutes more than double the time. Also with a heat pump that Ford does not have. V2L 110 volt inside & outside the car that Ford does not have@@CarsWithSteve

I've heard that a few times before, especially when it comes to the comfort of the seats. Still have to get into reviewing Tesla cars to get a real feel for them

@@davidray4128 Most EVs get 3-5miles per hour with Level1 (US 120v, 12A)... that is 30-60miles overnight.. so 60 miles per day, might be a bit tough, but if you plug in when home and get bit extra eg 12-16hrs, should be ok

For the high price for a Mach E or GT you be way better off and get more Tech on a Tesla!

Brand loyalty falls into play too. I've seen some great things with Tesla, just haven't been able to start reviewing their cars yet!

Cars is beautiful, but I dont like the these rims. Every manufacturer is doing these ugly flat cut rims, from cheep corollas to expensive cars. Can this trand please go away. Also i heard machE had throtolling problems when u do a few hard lunches, that needs to be fixed if it really wants to carry the mustang badge. My old fox body, never overheated and went to turtle mode.

EV rims do have a pretty distinct style. Always the option for aftermarket though! I was chatting with a few people who pointed out the throttling issue. I’m really hoping Ford brings in a Drag strip mode or lets users customize performance

That is not a Mustang. Looking at this electric POS. The original Mustang designers will be turning in their graves if they could see what Ford has done to the mighty Mustang. Its like all EV's come from the same cookie cutter factory and they glue a badge on them... They are all the same SUV/crossover crud

Have you driven one yet? Ford is going fully electric so this is evolution to keep the Mustang name going when gas powered is no longer available You also probably shouldn’t look at the redesigned 2024 model of the fastback Mustang if you don’t like the design of the Mach E
