2022 BMW ALPINA XB7 | When Enough Isn't Enough
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Earlier this year BMW brought inhouse longtime German partner and small series car manufacturer ALPINA, acquiring the brand which has been tastefully modifying BMW vehicles since 1978. There are currently 3 ALPINA models to shop from BMW’s American lineup but this one is the biggest. Based on the 3-row X7 this is the ALPINA XB7…the most exclusive BMW SUV you can buy.
MSRP as-tested: $154,945

Steve, I also have to say how much I would enjoy this SAV due to its exclusivity. What a truly beautiful vehicle.
Went to the plant yesterday in South Carolina saw it on the line awesome

Awesome! I toured that plant several years ago. Very nice.
That blue is awesome color.
Definitely want and shall have one. Awesome done.
Steve I’ve been subscribed long enough and seen enough of your videos that I feel comfortable in asking you for a small 155,000 donation. We’re friends after all 😂

I agree, that wood trim has got to go! I'm surprised by the exhaust note, it sounds quite good for a modern car.
I disagree on the wood trim - the myrtle wood really sets it apart from the rest of the lineup and brings a warmth befitting of an Alpina (I also hate piano black as someone who drives a Q8 that's littered with it). I think the car is absurd and a far cry from the effortlessly elegant early 2000s models that I fell in love with. That being said, I get the appeal and would possibly rank it above the hi-po GLS models.
Nice and cool car. But if I want a big vehicle to transport people and cargo I would much rather buy the Chevrolet Express utility van. And have a sports car like the Mazda MX-5 as well. ....and still have a lot of money to spare :o)
This SUV isn't really all that big, it's about the exact same size as my Durango. I think BMW needs to come out with a bigger SUV to compete with the Grand Wagoneer, Escalade, etc. But they do have the XM in the works, but I can't find dimensions on that one.
Great car however I am not a fan of the interior wood.
First 🤟
Eh. I'd rather have a wagon with a third row. I can only imagine how unwieldy this thing is.

Which 3-row wagon is that, exactly?

@@stevehammes Hahaha. I honestly don't know but hopefully manufacturers are listening. I think Volvo used to make one but they stopped a long time ago.
