BMW interiors have nice solid dense slightly springy materials on everything. I had a Cooper S, 66 plate, interior was made the same, felt very nice.

I recently drove a 118i F40 as a rental car and was really pleasantly surprised. It really drives very neutrally and the interior quality is great. Only the change to front-wheel drive is a real shame. Privately, I drive a 120i F20 with rear-wheel drive, which has really sporty handling. No way to compare it to the F40. Anyway, great video, keep it up!

​@@SuperGT3.2V6he means the newest bmw 1 series chassis code. He's comparing the 2nd gen 1 series (F20) to the third gen 1 series (F40). Not the Ferrari F40, that thing is in a different league lol

Zum Vergleich und gut belegbar: Meine Mercedes C- Klasse (2011 neu gekauft) war bei 156 PS auf 1,8 Ltr. mit 9 s von 0 auf 100 und einer Endgeschwindigkeit von 225 angegeben, meine zuvor gebraucht gekauften Audi A 6 2,6 mit V6 Motor und 150 PS (im C4) mit 9 S/210 km/h, der BMW 520i (E39) mit Reihensechser 2,2 Ltr. und 170 PS mit 9,3s/226 Ende, das waren alle Fahrzeuge der gehobenen Klasse, flott und reisetauglich, keinesfalls langsam, wenn auch keine Top- Modelle! Mit 8,9 s von 0 auf 100, 213 Endgeschwindigkeit schneidet da dieser Motor für mich keinesfalls schlecht ab, und ein Rennwagen kann man gern bestellen, wenn man ihn in diesen Zeiten braucht!

@@MH-sl8wh Yes, the motor non qualified for greater importance, but verry good for this automotive.

It seems to be limited at 214 km/h on speedo. I guess that`s the next BMW that is limited below it`s claimed top speed...

Ich denke mit Leasing wäre der als erstes Auto irgendwie geil. Ist viel sicherer als Hinterradantrieb und hat die notwendigen Helferlein an Bord die einem grad am Anfang das Auto fahren einfacher machen sollen 👌

ich habe auch einen als Leasing und kaufe ihn jetzt raus. Der ist top! Und selbst bei hohen Geschwindigkeiten u Regen auf der Autobahn unglaublich stabil. Bei dem neuesten Modell ist ja sowieso fast alles Serie. Also die LED, Digitales Display, Navi usw. Bestelle dir aber den großen Tank dazu. Der verbraucht schon 7-8 Liter Also mehr als da immer gesagt wird. Und auf jeden Fall das Harman Kardon. Damit wirst du sehr viel Freude haben👍🏻 Der Motor ist gut und du kommst mühelos auf 160 oder höher. Der hat keine probleme auf der Autobahn ist aber natürlich kein Rennwagen. Und dran denken, immer nur treten wenn er warm ist wenn du irgendwo auf ne Autobahntaststätte fährst ein paar minuten vorher kein vollgas mehr dass der Turbo und alles abkühlen kann. Und auf jeden Fall einfahren. Also bis 2000km nach Möglichkeit nicht über 2500 Umdrehungen und keinen kickdown😂👍🏻 Ich passe auf meinen so dermaßen auf weil ich ihn so lange wie möglich fahren möchte. Elektroautos finde ich furchtbar und allein dieses Mildhybridsystem hält sicher auch nicht lange. Der 1er hat das zum Glück nicht. Und noch was. Das Getriebe fängt an zu segeln, was auch nervt. Also am besten in den Sportmodus oder wenn du ruhiger fahren möchtest oder beim einfahren konfiguriere den Sport individual Mode und stelle den antrieb auf comfort. Dann kuppelt er nicht aus und auch das Start Stop wird abgeschaltet. Viel Spaß!

I have this and apart from the tyre noise on less quality roads, you can still whisper at 160 km/h

15 years ago we got a beefy 130i with the n52 and a 6 manual now we got a 3 cylinder dct front wheel driven car... not even a bmw anymore

Meine Kritik lautet so: Der Motor könnte locker 240Nm bei 2000U/min und 160PS bei 6000U/min leisten. Leider darf er aber wegen dämlicher Aufpreispolitk nicht das leisten, was er kann. Traurig, aber wahr.
