I find it by going to the local VW dealership.

Some people dream of owning Lamborghini's and Ferrari's i just want my VW GOLF R but will probably never happen........one can only dream of owning this beautiful car

Would you change it for an Audi S3?

No manual option in Europe, yet in the USA where they drive predominately automatic cars you can buy a manual version. Doesn't make sense. Come on Volkswagen get your act together.

Great video on this.I have been buying Golf GTI and Golf R since 1990.in September 2020 purchased a brand new GTI TCR. i think the price of this is shocking. in Australia.the TCR cost $56.000. the Mk8 GTI with no options $62.000. the TCR is loaded. 290bhp Golf R engine. the new GTI clubsport with the same spec would cost over $70.000 which is not available here. so the R will have be in access of $80.000. a $25.000 increase. not for me i will stick with our Mk7.5 and keep this very rare car!.

Never have another golf after the 7.5. I sold it after I got fed up with panoramic roofs cracking when you went over a matchstick.

@@2seaters Yes,it had to be replaced twice. I would join a forum or two. The customer service is shocking also. My 7.5 was specced to the hilt. I've had vw's for twenty five years...I would never buy a new one and only ever consider a classic.

At 2:25 there should be a Golf R, not a cheap car, at least on the Golf R platform.

Offcourse its faster , more bhp and 4 WD , BUT! And this is a big BUT. Will never be as pretty and sexy as my GTI clubsport hehe, because of the red stripe . The R looks too much like a normal Golf, yes the engine sound and the 4 exhausts but that's about it that makes IT stand out...
