The 2019-2021 Volvo V60 five-door, mid-size premium estate, underlining the Swedish company’s position as a maker of cars that combine good looks with everyday practicality.
Reflecting Volvo Cars’ industry-first announcement to electrify all new cars from 2019, the V60 comes with two plug-in hybrid powertrain options: the new T6 Twin Engine AWD petrol plug-in hybrid that generates a combined 340 hp or the T8 Twin Engine AWD petrol plug-in hybrid that delivers 390 horsepower.
The regular petrol choice offers T5 or T6 powertrains. Drivers who prefer diesel can select D3 or D4 engines.
The new V60 shares Volvo Cars’ Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) platform with the award-winning new XC60 and four top-of-the-line 90 Series cars, which have been the collective force behind the company’s record-breaking global sales performance in recent years.
The SPA-based V60 introduces a new standard to the mid-size premium estate segment with a luxurious interior, increased levels of space, advanced connectivity, plus Volvo Cars’ latest driver support systems and other safety technology.
The new V60 reinforces Volvo Cars’ standing as the industry leader in safety, with a comprehensive list of safety features that come as standard, including advanced driver support systems known from the 90 Series and XC60, making the new V60 one of the safest cars on the road.

Brandon Jolley Trust me, it will probably make it to the US before this does. Real pity too , cause this is absolutely stunning and beautiful and frankly Outbacks, Cross Country Volvo’s, All Road Audi’s, and every other high riding-plastic cladded wagon are just wanna be glorified SUV’s or crossovers for those with a prejudice for genuine station or sport wagons! Glad that Volvo is listening to its loyal wagon fan base with this and the V90! Left Subaru when they cancelled the Legacy GT wagon, Volvo’s last V70 R design was in ‘10, and not even going to mention Toyota and Nissan, which makes some of the coolest high performance wagons around! But not to worry, there will be an XC60 guaranteed.

Wow. Volvo is really looking good. Great design, great tech and like always great safety.
So, so glad Volvo is answering its loyal wagon owners and fans prayers, this is beautiful! Hopefully the wagon makes a BIG comeback and the whole crossover/SUV craze will fizzle out and go away for good!

This is a beautiful car. Not a fan of dashboard screen. Portrait isnt my type. Otherwise. Volvo has done great job. Looks little bit like audi a6 avant

Liknar mer V90 än V60...bara hoppas att den är lika bra som V90 och EJ som tidigare V60.

If you don't have the money for a V90 you get the V60, ain't that hard :P and it's also gonna sell well if it looks like the bigger brother, in my opinion, it looks kinda better on the exterior, if Volvo whould have make it uglier than the V90 , who would have bought it ? The V40 has to come too, they can't make this design line to look less premium but also look nice, maybe ?! Also , it's nice to have such a sexy looking car for less money than the V90...
Want, but XC90 XC60 V90 all are too expensive.
I prefer far more the jaguar xf sportbreak...just my opinion

Volvo is really raping every other manufacturer when it comes to design. I just hope we can get the pure diesels and pure petrols, cause I'm really not a fan of these hybrid technologies.

Benjamin Koranten Not likely. Fairly certain Volvo is going to stick with "electric motors of some kind" in all their models from 2019 onwards. Hybrids and eventually fully electric variants.
That driver does not look like he is feeling well however.
Volvo is now Chinese not Swedish, owned by Geely.
It didn't need a Volvo to make wagons great again. In fact Audi Quattro (, especially the RS) wagons were allways great.

trabzonlu ts araba dehşet... ona diyecek sözüm yok tabiki. Katılıyorum. Ama haç işi bozdu. Onu da aldıktan sonra keser, yerine Türk bayrağı takarız. Veya yeri arabamızı yaptigimiz zaman biz de onlar gibi haç yerine hilal koyarız. ☺

guysmiley Magnum wagon was a joke, no “real” usable space or utility of a true wagon. If it was so good, why only 2year production run! Relative wanted to buy one (new) and went for a test drive/ride and thought it was pretty low quality with cheap plastic interior panels and terrible fit and finish, unrefined ride and later on discovered not even reliable mechanically wise. The last true American wagons were late 80’s early 90’s GM B-body wagons and same generation Ford Squire/Mercury Colony Park wagons!

Carl M do you remember what was going on with the economy around that time? Besides an SUV is just a more useful wagon. To each their own but you don't have to lie. If they produced one today using the new Charger platform it would be better looking and a better vehicle for the assumed price it would be listed at. I could only imagine a hellcat wagon. Also, the vehicle didn't have reliability issues. Haven't found specs yet so I can't compare the cargo capacity of the magnum vs this new Volvo.
