Really good and better than I expected. Just got back from D.A.R.T. Training and then riding off road in the Ozarks with it. Kept up with a Africa Twin and KTM 890. I’ll be posting more of that trip in a couple weeks. 👍 Thanks for watching

That's county road 315 between Llano and Fredericksburg. Just rode it a few days ago on my 390ADV

Great ride and great video. Can you please provide some details on the track or if you have a GPX file. I am new to North austin and looking for some dirt roads to ride and improve my off-road skills. Thank you in advance.

How you like gt model while it isn't equiped with full offrode mode? Only Rally version has two offroad modes, offroad (available in gt) and offroad pro (only rally). Gt seems not to be capable to switch off all electronics abs, asr etc.

I haven't used the off road setting very much on the GT Pro. My understanding is that is does disable abs and traction control. So far the light off roading I've done has been fine without that mode selected. The Rally is superior to the GT Pro off road for sure though. The GT Pro is capable of light off roading such as fire roads, gravel, dirt, etc. but I wouldn't expect it to do very well on a technical BDR or rock climbing.

Looks like the Michelin anakee adventure tires work well for light to moderate off road. How do you like the performance on pavement and rain compared to the stock tires ?. Thanks for taking the time for your videos.

Hi Rich. Thanks for watching and commenting. The performance on pavement is great. For me, there's not much of a difference on the street between the stock tires and these tires. I'm hoping I'll get more mileage out of the Michelin Anakee adventure tires. I haven't rode in the rain with them yet so we'll see how that goes.

That’s good to hear. I am considering these tires for my 900 gt as well. I really like the stock tires aside from them being noisy on the highway however next year I’ll be doing a 500 mile BDR mostly on dirt and gravel roads and I’ll have to change them out. Let’s us know how those Michelins do in the rain on the highway. Thanks again.

I rode over 8000 miles on Anakee's with my GT Pro this year. More than half of that was going from Toronto, Canada to Key West, FL and back over 15 days. I put them through their paces. From unmaintained fire roads, to HEAVY rain in Florida in Sept, to a fairly aggressive run of Tail of the Dragon - all with a full travel/camping kit. These tires are excellent.
