The Pursuit of Speed - Highlights from the 2021 Runoffs National Championship Prototype 2 Race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on October 2, 2021. Solid battle between Tim Day Jr in the Stohr WF1 and Lucian Pancea in the Stohr WF1 for the win! Racing can be the theater of the unexpected, it rained hard that morning, right before the race start the track started to dry, but was very sketchy, so of course it wouldn't be racing with out some drama ...so Enjoy!!

Robert- point taken, I'd ask that you keep two things in mind; 1) the SCCA broadcasts live and then subsequently posts all the Runoffs races, for me to do just the broadcast would be redundant, 2) my viewers, over 11K on my last 3 videos, enjoy and like the perspective of the onboard footage and seeing the action from the car/cockpit.

Crazy, looked like they were expecting trouble and had the yellow flag ready, a bit over ambitious.....sort of Jinxed the back of the field
How much would it cost to get into such event?

There are a lot of variables, would you transport, run, and wrench on the car yourself? Or would you pay a team to provide all those services. A general rule of thumb, the most affordable thing in racing is the race car. The real cost is running the car (maintenance, crew, & tires)

@@tttday How many people participate in P2 as an individual? The website says the cars are homebuilt which is something i'm interested in, yet I see some common upper bodywork in carbon fibers.

@@coldiceEVO check out www.dauntlessracing.com/ which is the same at Stohr Race Cars. It varies, but if you have 10 P2 cars at a race, 40-60% are Stohrs or its cousin a West. And 60-70% are run by individuals that bring/hire help. The rest are run by professional "prep shops". Pre 2000 when P2 was know as DSR, there where more home-made or kit cars, keep in in mind these were very talented folks running those cars on track. Hope that helps.
