I an aussie who spent 10 years in northern Europe back in the day - 1995 - 2005 - One day I made my mind up to live the dream, went to Swhabach, Germany and bought a 993 privately - a 3.8 litre 320 HP motorsport kit engine - I fell in love with it. It was just absolute pure fun, its 100% a sports car. I drove all over Europe, from Sweden to the Med via the Alps. I will never forget the sound of gear changing at 230 or 240 kmh. There is just nothing, absolutely nothing like the sound of a Porsche engine. You can give me Audis, Ferraris, whatever. Wouldnt even look at them. When you step into a Porche even fora casual drive down to the local shops, its a buzz. Best cars on the planet and the only way to experience Europe. Best years of my life. PS - best stretches of road IMO - west coast of France, new untouched, uncrowded roads, parts of northern Germany. Best memories, afternoon to sunset drives, full concentration, full speed up around 275 ish.

Porsche just has a sweetspot in all carguys hearts..

Even at 330kph it looks like it's on rails. Astonishing stability.

There was a 2022 911 GT3 at the Nurburgring, but that’s a prototype, expected to release next year, the same time as when this 911 was released. GT2 RS? Well, hasta la vista, that’s coming out all the way in 2023, when I’m gonna be graduating university (Carleton University Ottawa gang). I’m actually applying to work for the only Porsche dealership in Ottawa, so yeah, I mean that’ll be great!

in Germany, it is possible that some one passes you at that speed. I once was passed by a porsche while i was doing 250 Kmh. i thought his speed was 3.20 something. that's why they drive diffrent in Germany.
