My RCZ-R with 300hp goes 265 , incredible for a 1.6 lt , i love it sooo much but man , i wish to switch in 2 years max to a 718 cayman S , a nice remap to 400hp and i will be sooooooo happy 😍

Any 2.0T I4 can make 180km/h under 3kRPM. That's more of a matter of Transmission than Engine.

Actually, they are not. The thing that makes Porsches extremely competent is that they are a unstable car, with a heavy rear end and a light front end. It gives them a Pendulum-like behavior. That's why they are quite dangerous to drive on the limit. And that's why experienced drivers like it so much.

Of course the Carrera T would have been faster in a higher gear! The Carrera T has a 7 speed manual, which is fully usable. This 7 gear manual transmission certainly doesn't have a shitty lame comfort gear characteristics in its second last gear! The car definitely would have been faster. Why this clown didn't shift into the 6. gear at 7250 rpm at 303 kmh will stay his personal mystery.

I can't wait to see someone put GTS turbos and some other bolt on goodies..600 hp rwd manual transmission dream machine ❤

I doubt that 'actual' power predictions in some other comments of 420+ hp are close to realistic.. the previous 991.2 T with a claimed 365hp power output was in actual fact only 375-380hp on the dyno at best. Probably a max output of 400hp for the 992 T. I had a previous Carrera T for three weeks while my C2S with 420hp was in for a warranty repair and it was noticeably slower at the top end, but more responsive due to lower boost and the slightly smaller turbos. The actual speed recorded on the Draggy was 288km/h which would be about right. (ps. my 991.2 C2S put out 435hp stock on the dyno)

This is just beyond the reality of owning and using this car to it's potential in Little Blighty. It's a dream. 20, 30, 50, etc. camera zones , how would one practically use this car? Nothing against it, wizard bit of kit.

Agreed but even Porsche designs 6th and 7th as overdrive gears for fuel economy. 5th gear is the near 1:1 ratio for top speed (also shown in the video).

Gearing seems a little long, top speed should be achieved in 6th instead of in 5th gear. Why the 7-speed gearbox otherwise... Great choice nonetheless, even with PDK an option, manual is the way I would go!
