Great job highlighting the magnificence of the ML sound system in the RX350. My all-time favorite sound systems beginning with my favorite: 1. 2017 RX350 Luxury edition Mark Levinson sound. 2. 2006 Chrysler Pacifica Limited with Infinity sound system (yep, it;s freakin' fabulous!). 3. 2021 Mercedes E53 AMG with the $4500. upgraded Burmester sound system. Ironically, I have all 3 of these vehicles at the same time...yes, I like to rock while rolling!

We have a 2010 RX w the base audio. The base audio itself is ok. But since I listen to music at a quiet level, the quiet interior at speed blends well w the base audio, resulting in a better than average listening experience. I’ve been in cars w fancier upgraded audio systems. But they sometime get droned out by the noisy interiors. Now I’m interested in hearing the upgraded ML system. Especially if you rated it a 9.5!

I have a 2010 RX with the 12 speaker system and I have enjoyed listening to the Quality of the music play to the CD player and through my Bluetooth on my RX!

if you get charlie to say OH MAN that means it's some good stuff :) if hes quiet you know it sucks but hes just being nice still giving it a 8/10. I've been watching daily motor for over a year now lol

Tbh, watch time statistics show people skip that song a lot. So these days I only play that one for higher-end, classier systems.

I just test drive one a few days ago because they had a really good deal on a lease with $3k off MSRP.. took it for a spin and only went about a half a mile, looked at the sales guy and I said.. NOPE! Drove it back to the dealership and left.. Lexus really messed it up with the turbo four cylinder.. it feels very under powered rough / unrefined and buzzy. Thought you’d like to know.

Depends on the Lexus. LX and GX are essentially tied with Volvo, but I'd take a Volvo over the rest of the MLs.

Had both and the mark levinson is better from 40-55 volume ranger other than that pretty comparable 80% same

from personal experience, the mark Levinson is much more immersive compared to the 12 system if you're sitting in the back seats as passenger. the 12 speaker system is quite similar but you hear everything in the front if you're the rear passenger. other than that, if you're the driver, it feels the same. Mark Levinson is more crisp in terms of bass and highs if you were to blast it. the 12 speaker starts to lower the bass to accommodate the highs when you reach a certain volume due to power constraints.

Yeah, it’s pretty good for a base system. I’ve heard it before. Probably one of the best base sound systems you’ll hear.

So you rated this system a 9.5 is that an s-tier rating? Because in another video you gave the NX ml an A+ but you said it sounded a little bit better than the rx

To truely hear a top end system, only CD will do. Steamed music or plug ins, not the same as laser reading from CDs.

This review is worthless.. You did not once mention the file types that this system plays. Playing stereo tracks in pseudo surround sound is very lackluster. Would love to see if this system would play Multichannel FLAC files or DTS.
