Man, that thing can ride itself! 😂 Very nice bike! I'd be proud of that one as well. Been watching your vids and reading about another friends trip from the same year. Appreciate you sharing everything 😇🤝

Check out Moose Racing Grip Heaters. They install under you grips and work great on those cold mornings or when you get caught in bad cold weather.

Thank you for this video and the series. It looks like you have a different navigation setup on the tour. Did you change it to two voyager pro next to each other for the trip? Plus spare devices? Plus inreach or PLB?

On our test rides, we thought the Garmin was still too hard to see, so we switched to the two Voyager Pro's side by side. So glad we did. That was by far the best change we made. They are much easier to use and to see while riding. We carried a Garmin In-Reach Explorer+ attached to our vests. We also had GAIA APP running on our phone for back-up navigation. GAIA works very well also.

Thank you. We are planning RIdaho GRIT3 this year with the same bike. I am returning with the same exact setup, however I will likely change the Left Hand Rear Brake to the Clake set-up. The Rekluse works great, but it just doesn’t fit right with the hydraulic clutch. Other than that, no changes.

@@davidpowell5015 I have used Clake units before and they are very high quality and function. I recommend when you order it buy service parts at the same time as it takes awhile to get from Australia. Enjoy GRIT3 👍🏻

David, I am a lifelong Idaho native and my wife and I own a KTM 250 XCW and an 300 XCW respectively…and I am really interested in a list of all of the addons/upgrades you guys installed on your bikes. Could I get something like that? I am having to do a lot more mods to my bike than I originally envisioned due to my height and enormous boots 😏 I know that most will not relate from your thumper to my 2 stroke but it may help just the same. Thanks and great videos btw 🤘🤘🤘

@@davidpowell5015 dig this prep video 🤘 bad thing for me is: since my wife does this as well, we need everything times (x) two. She is already down with the Rekluse auto clutch and left side rear brake setup 😁. Also hot on the buddy system…we ride and constantly one or the other stops to check…suxxors! I am trying to find someone/company that can machine a longer/lowered set of pegs. Side note, I was stationed at Ft. Hood/Killeen and coming from Idaho, had never seen land so flat…until we drove from Idaho to Ft. Campbell, KY. Thanks again. 😎
