Excellent review. Here in Britain, it's well behind the Fiesta and Corsa for popularity, but I've had three, and none of them have ever let me down.

Heard the Vauxhall Corsa is mad popular over there. And we miss the Fiesta's handling for sure - they don't sell it here anymore....

Brilliant review. I went to look at one the other day and I was astonished at how clever and smartly designed it is. I’m going to test it next week.

We're really glad Honda didn't much up the Jazz, it's always been such a brilliant car.

I love this review, and the guy, rolling around on an office chair! Brilliant insight and detail! Pack an office chair challenge anyone? Loved it! Looked at the car, and feel Honda leads the segment atm. The thing I find curious as a designer, is that no one picks up the the shape of the car went through a total aerodynamic overhaul. It's judged ugly, I bet the CD is super low, which is sexy actually. Not a Concorde, but a perfect ECP/PIE/CTE cruiser!? (especially if you bring an office chair 😊)

Hi H Mee, thank you so much for the kind words. That's true, the cleaner overall 'EV' look almost certainly reflects a lower Cd. Some of the new EVs are becoming really 'slippery' too, it's a pretty amazing improvement.

That's a good review. Concise. Would you guys mind being able to put ownership costs over few years? Servicing, average fuel consumption, road tax, insurance et al over a period of 3-5 years. It would make buying decisions really easy. Maybe even reliability figures if you have any data on them

That's our long term dream, to have that kind of data. New car reviews always leave out those things, but precisely because it's valuable data that is hard to come by.

This is what people missed the point about the new Jazz. The Jazz wasn't actually sporty when it first came out, and when this generation came out, everyone started hating it because it didn't look "sporty" enough. Thus, we Indonesians got the City Hatchback instead. Though I liked that the City hatchback still offer a manual variant, but the rear seat headroom and rear visibility is horrific thanks to that "sporty-look" from the low roof line.

Thanks for that Richard. It's true, somehow the Jazz morphed into having sporty expectations (maybe because of the RS model?) but all along it's been about practical, usable space in a compact hatch body.

Hey great review but can i ask you two questions please: 1st question how many kilometers can you do on electric motor? How many in total? 2nd question can the front seats be closed like the rear seats so you have flat surface ( so the front seats must be closed to the front not to the back) Thank you in advance

1. Honda doesn't say it has an EV range in the way you mean. But we guess it would be like a Prius where you can run at most a few km on the motor. 2. According to info from Honda the front seats can fold flat backwards for a lounge style seat but they can't fold forwards flat like what you mean.

Fit is the JDM model and the Jazz is the everywhere-but-Japan model. We haven't driven the Fit so we can't say they're EXACTLY the same

It's a very clever system. And all of them are! Actually it's also really cool that now we have three different hybrid systems from the major Japanese manufacturers, and all of them work pretty well!
