2021 GMC Yukon Denali REVIEW: IT'S SO MUCH BETTER!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Nope, there’s nothing cheap about the redesigned GMC Yukon Denali. But hey, with more features, a MUCH nicer interior and greater comfort than ever, this 2021 model actually feels like it’s worth the asking price.
From the blue-collar Chevy Tahoe to the stately Cadillac Escalade to the GMC Yukon in between, General Motors' family of large, truck-based SUVs has been a huge seller over the years. Despite their popularity, these vehicles have not necessarily been the most premium, versatile or passenger friendly, though these shortcomings -- and others -- have been addressed for 2021. Thanks to a much-needed redesign, the GMC Yukon Denali has been transformed from a luxury pretender into a legitimate contender.
So, how much do they want for a 2021 Yukon? Well, a base, rear-wheel-drive SLE model starts around $52,000, which is a totally reasonable figure. In fact, depending on trim, prices have either remained the same as last year or crept up slightly, by not more than $700. But in comparison, my tester rolled off the assembly line in Arlington, Texas with a window sticker of $83,420, including $1,295 in destination charges. That's a lot of scratch, very similar to a lower-end Mercedes-Benz GLS or Lincoln Navigator, vehicles this GMC actually has some chance of competing with now.
With additional interior room, greater refinement and more tech, the new Yukon Denali is better than ever. If you've got deep pockets and like what you see, check your local GMC dealership, because they're available right now.

The Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, the GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, and the Cadillac Escalade account for 50% of all large SUV sales in the US. GM makes 340,000 of them every year and exports about 80,000 to 31 countries. They’re made in GM’s plant in Arlington, Texas, which is said to be the most profitable assembly plant in the world. We estimate they generate $20 billion in revenue for GM and about $4 billion in profits. Autoline Daily.

"DENALI BRAND OUTEARNS LAND ROVER Wow, who knew? A report from JP Morgan says that GMC’s Denali sub-brand generates $6.4 billion in revenue. That’s more than Land Rover and close to Audi. And we’re just talking about a trim line, not the entire GMC lineup. So now Buick wants a piece of that action. It’s launching its own sub-brand, called Avenir, just like that show car that generated so much attention. Buick sees an opportunity to appeal to customers who will to pay more for a higher trim level. But it’s not building that show car. Instead, Avenir branded vehicles will get bolder mesh grilles, bigger wheels and special Avenir badging. Buick says three global models will get the Avenir treatment within next year." Autoline

Of the two I drive for work on a regular basis (2017 ford expedition ecoboost and 2020 suburban) I would take the ford for handling and acceleration any day. For reliability overall, ignoring all the little things that normally fail about the interior on gm vehicles, I'd take the suburban. It will be interesting to see if this suffers the same rear control arm bushing problem as the fords in the long run.

@@insayn7995 Well, they didn't change enough between the 2013 and the 2017 model expedition to get rid of the serious hazards caused by the rear end violently swinging to one side or the other from the bushings wearing out. If Chevy does something similar with their irs setup, it's going to be on hell of a nasty handling vehicle for the used market.

@@pasoundman How are they not refined? These new Autos shift like a buttery smooth DCT. Extra two gears are for fuel economy, wouldn't be getting 17 MPG out if a massive 7 and half ton SUV otherwise.

Dear followers!! Don't let the beautiful pictures confuse you . Anyone who buys a new car from GENERAL Motors the chance you threw your money into the trash is very large. In this company there is no customer service, the company's management does not care at all, if you have a problem or a malfunction, you can only pray to God there is a chance that the help will come faster. GM is a very dangerous company, be careful and keep your money safe.!!!Share so more people don't get screwed.

RAM AIR IV Exactly!!! Plus the Denali and Escalade have the same amount of luxury from the mid row seats on back. I bought a fully loaded 2020 Denali back in March for $65k. It has the same smoth 6.2 liter and 10 speed. To me that’s the bigger steal until discounts can be had in a year or so on these.
