Thanks for the question. The earphones operate via infrared so they are always paired. However they have a channel selector button right on the earphone. If your not hearing anything try switching that button. Short of that try replacing the battery. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

Thanks for the question. The Pacifica was redesigned for the 2021 model. It should be almost identical if not exactly the same as the 2022 model. New cars are hard to find these days as most are already sold before they hit the dealers lots, but we’re always looking for them. Thanks for watching’

Just bought the 2022 Pinnacle Hybrid. It didn't come with headphones for the entertainment system. What should I purchase for use by my kids age 9 and 5?

Congratulations on your new ride! There’s two routes you can go: wired or wireless (Infrared). Personally I would go with the wireless ones for kids that age. Just less of a hassle if there is no cord on the way. Here is a possible model to look at TOPXCEGUU A10 IR Wireless Headphones on Amazon there cheaper and more expensive models. Each of the headphones will have a channel selector (A-B) so kids can choose which screen to listen to and they can listen to different dvds at the same time as well. They will also have a power button and a separate volume knob on each headphone. I wish you could just do Bluetooth but the owners manual only talks about wired or infrared headphones. Now… these are generic aftermarket headphones and should work just fine. I have used generic infrared headphones with an older vehicle I had and they worked great. But there some infrared headphones on Amazon that specifically tell you they will work with your year (2022) U Connect theater system. So there are some thoughts and choices for you to think about. 2019’ Pacifica limited s with connect theater and dual dvd in rear. Are you able to watch separate dvds on the rear tvs? I swore I read you could put in 2 separate dvds one for each screen but I can only get the player to take one dvd. Any idea? Thanks

To the best of my knowledge it can only play one dvd at a time as there is only one dvd player. If you want to play 2 dvds (different ones for each screen) one idea is to purchase a cheap portable dvd player or even just a house style dvd player (there are outlets in the van you can plug into) and plug the hdmi cable from the dvd player into the hdmi input in the van, then on the second screen select hdmi as the input. Just bought a 2022 Touring L with the TV's and S package. Great vehicle so far. I was hoping having audio just go through the speakers in the rear would be a little easier. As my child with his special needs is not a fan of headphones.

Thanks for the question. To hear the rear screens through the cars speaker system you can press the listen in button on the front screen. If you can’t see it, you may need to start the movie so it’s playing. Once you have it running through the vehicles speakers, simply change the fade under sound settings to move the sound to only the rear speakers. @@carollyons8050 my touring l didn’t either. It’s apparently not included with any package that I could find anymore . But pairing any Bluetooth headwear is pretty easy . The software has a few bugs though for sure

Thanks for the question. In the infotainment screen, click on Settings, then scroll down until you see languages, and click on that. If you don’t see languages in the list, then click on system information , and then you should see languages. Thanks for watching!

I have a 2020 Pacifaca limited and I try to play a DVD but it says remote is locked in rear . What does that mean? I press the Uconnect theater and nothing happens . I'm confused and frustrated. Do you have any ideas?

Thanks for the question. This can happen when you shut the car off before pressing the stop button on the rear entertainment system. Be sure to press stop for what ever is playing, then select blue ray media as the source for both screens then shut off the car. When you restart it should not show that message. Others have had the same issue. Thanks for watching!

Do I have to have WiFi in order to play the games? When we click on any games other than are we there yet, the tvs turn off and won’t turn on again unless the vehicle is restarted

Thanks for the question. There isn’t a way to permanently turn off the tv. You can, from the infotainment screen click on apps, then click on vehicle, then click on U Connect system and then you will see a power button for the tv on the screen and you can turn it off from there. Hi, I just got the 22 Chrysler pinnacle but am frustrated with the entertainment system.. it was so much simpler on my 2020 Chrysler Pacifica. Just a question on the icon ,, on your Uconnect icon. It shows like a movie roll,, on mine it shows fire TV. Is there a difference?

I noticed the Chrysler page says we can use downloaded Amazon prime movies to the back screens. How do we do that? “No data no problem. Watch your favorite entertainment without using data while on the road thanks to prime video downloads with built in storage. Content can be played on the rear display or across both displays…”

Thanks for the question. This is only available on 2022 models. If that’s what you have, you do have to use the WiFi to setup your accounts, then use WiFi to download the videos , then you can watch them without using WiFi. It should store the downloads on the vehicles storage area (built in). The apps, amazon prime and Firestick should look similar to what you see on your portable devices so the downloads should appear in the same area. Thanks for the question. Best way to do that is to get a cheap android device, hook it to your phones hot spot or the vehicles WiFi, and the share it from the android device using MIRACAST which should be built into the android device. Basically you start your cars screen, make sure the input is set to streaming then pull up youtube show on the android device, then look for a little icon on the screen for sharing, once you click that, it should stream to the screen. Apple phones do not work well with this system. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

2022 here. I am having trouble finding the installed games without having to connect my Amazon account to tbe fire tv. I really hate that I can’t hide my Amazon stuff

From the front screen, select the Media icon, then click on the UConnect theater icon. Thanks for the question. You should be able to download apps via the UConnect store. You would need to sign up and I’m assuming pay either a monthly fee or per app fee. You can also use Alexa to access apps as you would in your house although you would need to take some extra set up steps to do so. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

Mine only works with bluray and not with dvd. I have zero games and the theater menu looks completely different. I have a 2022 pacifica. Been like hell trying to get this fixed. It's had the entire entertainment unit replaced and we'll as the radio/ screen unit. Dealership is awful. Any advice?

Wow, sorry to hear that. Here are a couple of thoughts. 1. As long as you notified them of the issues while under warranty, they should be obligated to fix it no matter what it takes. 2. Check your states vehicle Lemon Law and see how it might apply to you in the future if the issues are not fixed. 3. You could opt to take it to another Chrysler dealer, but I’d try to stick with the current one if possible. 4. The Better Business Bureau can take complaints about a dealership, but I would not suggest doing this until you e exhausted every other means, as they will contact the dealership, and that would make your relationship with them spoil if you know what I mean. 5. Ask to talk with the dealership manager and see if that helps. Hope these ideas help. Best of luck and thanks for watching!

Have you figured anything out? We just got a 2022 and can’t play games unless hooked to WiFi but don’t want to pay for van WiFi I feel like they just want money and Dud tHat on purpose. Our 2017 had games that could be played without WiFi.

We decided to do the WiFi package. But I can’t figure out how to bypass tbe fire tv and just have the installed games

My screen 1 will play the movie but it shows something in the back and I don’t know how to remove it.

@@TwoGuysandaRide it’s the tv behind the drivers side and it plays the movie but the movie isn’t clear and you can see the background while the movie is playing I have pictures of it but I can’t post them on here.

@@vivyanmuniz879 thanks for the reply. Obviously this shouldn’t be happening, so here are a couple of ideas for you to think about and try: 1. If the show that’s playing is on a DVD, try a different DVD (one you know works fine) and see if the same issue occurs. If it doesn’t, then the DVD was corrupted. If it still shows the same problem, I would guess there is a technical issue with either the blue ray player in the front, or the TV screen in the rear, either would need to fixed by a dealership (hopefully under warranty). 2. If your streaming the movie from a phone, try seeing if there’s an update for your phone, or the app your using to stream with. 3. If you have a different device connected with an hdmi cable make sure that the device playing the movie has adequate power. iPhones for instance when plugged into the system using an hdmi cable need to be externally powered (so the phone has to be plugged in to an outlet). Also you could try changing the hdmi cable and see if that improves anything. Hope these ideas help and thanks for watching!

@@TwoGuysandaRide I think it’s just the tv screen because the movie plays fine but on that screen it looks like there something else showing in the background and it also shows the movie and on the other screen on the passenger side it’s perfectly fine.

@@TwoGuysandaRide and I turned it on and off and when Iam on my home menu it shows like there another image behind it so Iam guessing it’s that whole unit.

Getting pissed at our brand new touring L, the blu ray does not appear as a input option, and the Wi-Fi won’t activate, not impressed
