    Glad you made over that hump boondocking. Glad you got sone wood to use for camp fire. The food you ate looked good at the place that said beer is good or something and food not great. I love the Sea Life Center. Those seals are so cute. I always fell like I want to pet them when I see them.

    Seward is a great town especially around and on the 4 th of July. Remarkably then that the biggest event of the year there, the Marathon Mountain race climb, didn't even get a mention.

    John, you're exactly right and that's why we returned for 4th of July 2021 to find that the Marathon WASN'T scheduled like normal that year... 😢 Due to COVID, they spread out the events in 2021 to avoid crowding. We still had a great time, caught the fireworks and parade, but it would have been great to watch the marathon. -Howard

    Such a beautiful video!! Can’t believe you got so close to pet a seal,they are so beautiful.The puffins there are so stink’in cute. The food as usually looked so delicious. I can’t believe at 11:00 pm,it is so bright outside,I think I would be so mixed up for awhile..haha..Scout seemed to have a wonderful time on the boardwalk,so sweet!!.The National park was beautiful,so sad the glacier is receding,someday it will be gone.😔. The views were awesome though,thank you again for another wonderful video. Take care and stay safe. Big hugs…🇨🇦💕

    RVing seems to be the best way to see Alaska! I’m traveling to Alaska next weekend. Starting with a flight to Anchorage and finishing up in Fairbanks, I have excursions planned in Seward, Whittier, and Denali. My entire trip is built around Alaska Rail. I definitely like Seward a lot better than Homer. Nothing like having a cup of coffee in the morning and watching the charter boats go out surrounded by beautiful Mountains fresh air nothing like it in the world. I don't want to be anywhere else but Alaska. I mentioned it in the last video and you guys mentioned it again I'm really upset the City of Seward doubled the camping prices. Now when I go Halibut fishing I think I will camp where you guys did.

    Enjoying your Alaska travels, keep up the great content!!! We are planning a rv trip to Alaska in 2121 with our three dogs. Thank you for posting about the specific original document need to enter Alaska with a pet. Doing a google search on how many dogs can you take onto Canada, the first hit from 2017 was two, but looking at the Canadian website I cannot find that you cannot take three. In past trips we had two dogs and was not asked for any documents, but with covid and tightened security did you have any questions about taking three dogs into Canada or Alaska?Thanks again for the outstanding content, looking forward to seeing your adventures!

    Jeff, thanks so much and apologies for the late reply! I'm not aware of any such restriction regarding number of dogs when crossing into Canada. Each time we have crossed, they ask and we happily tell them three. About half the time, they will ask if you have their rabies paperwork, but we have never needed to show it. Hope that helps! 👍 -Howard

    What do you do for gas in these remote and isolated areas of Alaska?

  • @NewstateNomads

    @NewstateNomads

    Ай бұрын

    Great question! The general rule is to look for fuel whenever you reach a half a tank. Along the most popular routes, you shouldn't be more than 100 miles between gas stations, and almost all have both gas and diesel. We have all the fuel stops, along with activities, dining and accommodations for both our 2019 and 2021 trips (150+ points on the map) included with our planning guide: newstatenomads.com/rvalaska Thanks for watching! 👍 - Howard
