My son was born with cleft and watching this video you made brought back intense memories. He’s ten years-old now. I remember Learning to use the special bottle and how exactly to feed him. I remember that super-wide smile and miss it, even though I love his smile today. He’s a proud gamer brother to a little sister now, and the two play PS5 together. You’re a good dude. I remember all of the same stresses and lack of sleep and the shock of being left with an infant, suddenly. You handled it all like a champ. It really made my day watching this, even though it was venting about negative things. Sharing it gave me some comfort in knowing I wasn’t alone in that experience and can finally relate, let alone to someone I’ve watched on KZread for ten years or more. Stay frosty, brother. Cheers

Thanks for sharing, Johnny. Really appreciated hearing about your experience with your new kid -- when my first child was born, I was basically anxiety ridden for weeks... didn't eat, was constantly sick... it's something a lot of people (especially dads) don't talk about. Hope everything is going well :).

Yeah, you had covid. I had it, and I still have breathing issues and a cough, even after 2 months. You're also not alone for 2020 being a truly horrible year. Lost my job, my dog died, suddenly, from an aneurysm. My back ended up getting severely injured and I was in a wheel chair for awhile, not knowing if I'd walk again. But now I'm walking pretty good, got a new puppy, got my job back. Just gotta keep moving forward no matter how many times you get pushed back.

I call these kind of times “shit tornadoes”. Mine was 2017. My kids mother left me, I lost my job, i started getting into pretty bad debt, I thought my life was pretty much over. 5 years later o have a beautiful fiancé who moved in with me a few months ago, I have my kids 50% and I have a better job than I had before. Lesson learned was to just keep moving forward. Have a bad day every now and again but keep doing what you need to do until the tornado moves on to some other poor bugger. ❤️

Thanks for your long video buddy. I've watched your channel for years and this year has been rough for all of us, but honestly, I'm so glad for you and Kim to have a kid, hope Robman is getting better. Honestly, I can't imagine the stress we'd go through if we weren't Canadian to deal with so many rough patches and everything like we are. You've dealt with a LOT and you've become a stronger, more resilient family man out of this. *You go Guile! Sincerely wish all of you all the best in the world. Your positivity and energy is so contagious, dare I say viral. You're all wonderful people! Keep up your strength, determination and hard work! Happy new year and stay safe all of you!!

Happy birthday John. Been a fan for a long time now. As a single dad of a beautiful and wonderful 3 year old daughter, I can attest to pregnancy and child birth being the scariest thing in your entire life. It's amazing how much someone can care about someone they've created and never met. My daughter was born unresponsive for 7 minutes. She was alway breathing and heart always beating, but JESUS CHRIST those were the longest 7 minutes of my life. It was an eternity. They rushed her to NICU and it was like my body was tethered to her, I instantly followed her and never let her out of my sight for a second. She recovered and she was fine after staying in the NICU for a week. And when we finally got discharged, tell me that car ride home wasn't the hardest and longest drive ever - your very first task at really protecting your family is that drive home from the hospital. I'll tell you this man, every single part of being a dad NEVER gets easier, but three years later, I thank the powers that be every day that she's healthy and happy. It is the most hardest and most rewarding experience ever - I know most people say that, but it truly cannot be experienced until it happens. My daughter told me tonight as I tucked her in, after kissing her forehead: "Dad?" "Yes honey?" "That was true loves kiss?" "You have no idea honey." "I think it was." Get ready man. Get ready for these great memories to come. Being a Dad is 100% the best thing.

She saved your year 💜 I hope that 2021 will have a lot of more good topics to go on! Happy New year for you and Kim (I absolutely love her personality) and for the baby, too! God bless 💜

Tears in my eyes as I watched this one Johnny. I remember how happy I was for you and also for me to hear that you guys were having a baby girl at about the same time we were. I thank the heavens everyday that our baby girl was born healthy. I'm watching this for the third time now and I'm still shocked to hear your 2020 story. Breaks my heart every time I think about how you guys must have felt when you heard the news and how I would feel if it were my little girl. Wish you all the strength in the world to get through these difficult times.

Thanks for sharing. I was sick this morning when I got up at 4 and watched this video & made my sickness seem not so bad. I actually wanted to show this video to my mom as well so I watched it again with her. If what don't kill you makes you stronger then 2020 puts you close to superman. Glad you all made it through and your daughter is so lucky to have such loving parents. I'm sure she will one day look back on this video and cry. Hopefully Rob can keep his foot that is horrible enough. Prayers for all of you.

I was born with that kind of lip and roof of my mouth, and that was in the mid 70s. I had surgery. You can see it, if I shave. But I actually have that covered by a moustache/beard. It was the source of endless misery at the hands of schoolyard bullies, I tell you that. Be ready. Kids will be cruel.

Clift lip gang? Seriously though kids are brutal, I remember i was called multiple names myself in my first years of school still did until the end of high-school years and had a couple of operations to try and fix it, it rarely noticeable like you say now with a mustache and facial hair
