Einer meiner absoluten Lieblings-Mercedes im Portfolio :).

That 2l diesel engine really is impressive. How it handles +1800 kg so easy and yet so fuel-friendly is beyond this world. If course the bigger 6-cylinder versions are better, but do you really need them? This one is the perfect match, for this type of comfortable cruiser. I'd rather go with some expensive luxury in the cabin than a bigger engine. :)

It is possible when reliability goes down the toilet. 200 000km max before major engine overhaul.

Dad had this car. It was the best driving car i have ever driven. You could do 120kmh to turns on the road and it is so much quieter than the video makes it sound. It handeld so well. No problems going illegal speeds on small roads and no need to slow down in turns. Now farher has 2021 gle 350de and the e altterraib was much better to drive. E all terrain is One of the best modern mercedes especially for the price and features.

how is the 5 speed gearbox? is it comfortable? im switching in my M550i xdrive with 8 speeds for an e220d all terrain with 5 speeds

Are you trolling? Theres no 5 speed gearbox all terrain. Or any modern mercedes for that matter since like the 2000s. It has a 9 Speed MCT Gearbox.@@theckasher4452
