Dave, load floor in the cargo hold adjusts to make the load for level, but it reduces total cargo space. The DCT is a DRY clutch, so owners should be prepared to replace the clutch. Its really an automated manual transmission. A S trim model is the sweet spot, at $20,500
If that DCT is still a dry clutch i'd only lease this unless you are willing to have the clutch packs replaced. That model should have came with the cargo shelf to somewhat level off the cargo area. Also that IVT (CVT with a chain instead of a belt) is a total unknown.
I really like when you actually have the car in your possession to do a review rather than the videos that you produce that use stock footage. Your footage is unique as is your commentary. The stock footage can be found anywhere and is routinely used within other car reviewers' videos as snippets.
I love my KIA Soul. The first time I saw one closely, it was driven by a friend who is about 6'6". He had so much room. I am 4'11", and I do have a little trouble reaching the pedals. I had driven my Grand Am for nearly 20 years, and needed something a little higher to accommodate my aging knees, etc. Everyone says my car is cute and I totally agree!!!

I've always liked the Kia Soul. Never had an issue out of one neither.

I got the base model with the 6 speed and so far enjoy it and is quite fun and simple
I've always loved the seating feel and position. Too bad this doesn't come with AWD.
I still find it like an ugly duckling on the outside, but the inside really exceeded my expectations. Considering all the tech in this model, I think it’s a real contender with those price points. If you don’t need AWD, this is a nice choice for a subcompact. The price, even at the top end, is what attracts me to the Soul. That, and the 10 year warranty. It’ll definitely be a consideration when our '13 Tiguan is past it’s prime.
The 1st and 2nd generation Soul looked more compact than this new version even though the specs would suggest otherwise ........
