Bangkok Monologue ipad mini 5 has been laucnhed in 2019, ipad mini 4 in 2015, so this is ipad mini 5 which has A12 processor, ipad mini 4 had A8 chip.

Love Apple or hate them, gotta admit they make the best tablets for the price. But that 32GB storage is insultingly low.

Yeah. 64 is low now. On tablets I want al least 256 gig which my 10.5 pro has. My mini has 64 and already pushing near the limit.

iPad mini FTW. Love the minis. Perfect for portability, I used it all through college for ebooks, web browsing for research along with the typical entertainment consumption. The mini is a great companion to a laptop/desktop.

I was brainstorming and thinking since yesterday which to choose between the two and keep on finding for this kind of comparison in youtube. Atlast! 😄 I will go with the mini!

This is the kind of videos I have been looking for.

I’m still enjoying the mini 5. I think given the higher base storage and the laminated display, it remains the better product. My work machine is a 13” asus zen book so I do not want a tablet type experience that’s too close to using a laptop. I have also found that thumb typing is quite efficient, and the mini is best for that.

So I’m typing this on my iPad mini 5, I bought it 2 months ago during quarantine to keep me entertained. I went with it instead of the iPad Air 3 and I’ll still go with it if I were to pick one between these two. I’ve been using it a lot for professional gaming like codm and it has no lag, no stutters smooth as butter, and it fits my hand perfectly but it has one issue. The battery is pretty small and I can only play about 4-5 hours so I play with it plugged in. Thanks for reading this and have a nice day!~

Few things you missed was iPad mini 5 has 7MP front camera vs 1.2MP on iPad 2020 giving it 1080p vs 720p respectively. iPad mini 5 has Bluetooth 5 vs BT 4.2 on iPad 2020. I was considering to switch but now I’m sticking to my iPad mini 5. Absolutely adore this little thing.

I didn’t get the mini at all until I started ‘borrowing’ my girlfriends mini 4 while commuting, and it suddenly made way more sense. If you like reading on your iPad it’s really great, and the light weight design and wider screen makes it much better than using a phone. Really useful that it fits in most pockets but the screen is scaled so still shows as much info as the larger iPads 👍🏻

Groza I own a budget 6th gen ipad with 32gb. It’s quite enough for a uni student with decent usage or note taking, but yeah strictly without any game and better with an icloud photo storage. But since I’m saving up a bit, I’m going for either the new Air or the pro. 32gb is usable, but definitely not a comfortable storage option.

The form factor of the iPad Mini 5 is great for me, I like one handing my device, especially now since we work from home. Since I'm always on my home Wi-Fi, I hardly find myself using my phone. This do everything larger than phone / portable display kind of helps me understand what folding phones are going for.

Just bought my 10.2 from Target for 230. It was a return and it’s probably one of the best purchases ever.

I am an adult too,but I bought the mini5 for gaming,lol. It’s more comfy and lighter to hold for longer time. You just assume all adults are with masculine structure by default ,which is wrong.

The iPad mini is like 1 year old meaning it’s price will likely drop by quite a bit at Black Friday or whatever sells day you have, if you are going to get the normal iPad, not going for more storage is a joke, thus making them the same price and possibly cheaper for the mini, so there really isn’t a point getting the normal ipad unless you truly require the larger display.

@@mann294 Now the budget iPad is just as good as the iPad mini in terms of gaming, he said the previous 7 gen ipad was stuttery. So if you want an ipad that you can comfortably fit in your hand, get the mini. If you want a larger display, get the new budget ipad.

ipad mini comes with a 64GB storage and the larger ipad comes with 32GB. Storage eventually will run out when you start adding all the apps and videos especially when you can't expand. That's the reason I chose the mini and the screen quality.

I actually prefer my iPad mini 5 over this budget iPad. I use my mini for mostly reading, so I do want a smaller screen. I have a 2017 iPad Pro 10.5 for my daily driver and it works fantastic

ya I upgraded to mini 5 last black friday. the mini 4 was getting a little slower with multiple tabs open and everyday tasks. the new one is smooth as butter

nice to hear that. All I did was buy the iPad Pro for some weird reason

Ipad 8th generation vs ipad mini 5 which one is best for gaming / recording / streaming etc

is it still worth it if i buy the mini 5 today or wait for the mini 6
