Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

For £12,699, just £1,000 more than the standard model, you can buy an Indian Scout Bobber Twenty with its extra goodies such as wire wheels, so our regular contributor and all-around nice bloke, Simon Hargreaves, took the new 1133cc, 60° V-twin machine for a test ride.

    The "20" references 1920 and 2020. It's their 100th year anniversary Scout.

Really, really nice. I used to own a hardtail chop and sprung seats really help with comfort. If I had this I'd fit a solid base and sprung seat and that would instantly stop jolts. Looks a lot nicer than the triumph.

What an excellent review. Well presented, great manner, no bull and not in anyway offensive to the brand. I don’t own an Indian but after this would certainly demo one. Thank you

Great review! Enjoyed your relaxed approach to presenting - not blasting us with specs, but rather focussing on the real-life rideability of the bike.

My only major gripe with Indian is their lack of physical support. I knew a guy who had a warranty repair and it took them almost four months to get his bike up and running. There were also recalls that another buddy of mine had to get put on a waiting list to have rectified. I absolutely love the Scout line and I do plan on owning one in the future when their situation improves, but until they have reasonable resources and can meet the demand of their growing fanbase, I am going to have to hold off.

I think Indian is banging nails in Harley's coffin 🔨 (along with Harley themselves). 👍

I'm no Harley fan (and I own a Fatbob 114 for my sins) but I believe that Harley still have the edge over Indian in terms of fit and finish, and dare I say reliability? - I realise that this isn't saying a lot though :-)

Hi from New Zealand. Thinking of first ADV bike, Simon convinced me V85tt was probably right bike. Thought I might buy a cruiser as well ( Well a smaller one, have Moto Guzzi California 1400 custom), Think Simon may have convinced me again.

If you have a lower back problem and you really really want a scout bobber is there anything you can do to solve the problem? Maybe a custom rear suspension or spring saddle?

A more comfortable seat would probably be the easiest and cheapest way to improve the ride. Then you might want to take a look at upgrading the rear shocks. I did both to my Bobber 20 and I rarely get any shocks to my back.

I tried one of these. Great looking bike, but felt like I was “over” the bike, even with regular seat. Weird feeling. Plus it felt too small, like a kids bike (i’m 1m81, so just under 6’). Beautiful bike though
