@@SwitchbackOutdoorstv I'm disabled and I just got a crossbow from cabela's and have my doctor's recommendation so I get to use it this year to hunt😋😁
Sweet video you guys are fun to watch, was wondering what snowshoes do you guys run?
Made a tough shot look easy right there, well done. Thanks for promoting predator hunting and uploading this video. It seems many hunters in the outdoor tv / streaming space do not have the balls to risk their "brand image" with a wolf hunt.

@@SwitchbackOutdoorstv I know it sucks to carry the extra weight if backpacking in, but the electronic calls can work pretty well. Especially when paired with a little moving decoy
This has been a great video, especially since you're showing more than just the shot of the wolf which makes hunting them look easy. I do have a question though. While you guys were traveling, what were the road conditions like? It looks like the snow wasn't too deep, which is good, but none of the roads were plowed, right? Were the main roads getting their plowed until you reached the mountain roads? I am wanting to go next year and trying to find out what it's like from people who have actually gone.
Awesome video

I’m planning a hunt for late November for wolves. Do you have any advice? What all do you pack? I’m from Texas

Man wolves are the hardest thing to hunt IMO. I think I would stay mobile and not get to set on one place until you actually find some wolf sign. We thought if we backpacked in we would be in a better place, but there were no wolves there so it was a bust.
Challis was boogying out of there after he fell through the ice! That was awesome!

It was a cool adventure! Hopefully next time we can find a big bad wolf!
You can chalk that up as a successful scouting trip or predator hunt. Nice video.

Funny how animals walk in your tracks, makes you want to turn around once in a while. What’s the rifle your sporting with that carbon barrel?

The state manages harvest; just like all the other animals wolves need management.
