Honda quality is terrible now. I own a civic 2016 which has many problems and took a week for their technical team to fix. Crappy builders. Luckily service team is good

Sze Chong Teoh my main issue with this Gen accord is that the front and back seems to be designed by two different designers with different design style. It just doesn’t gel well

agreed, however the toyota camry is much more pricey ( arnd 190k ) and if am able to choose between the toyota or honda, honda all the way. But if paying for that price, might as well buy a recon Mercedes C Class Amg (2016) ahah

This model in the USA is the Touring version. The Touring comes, with everything fully loaded. This is the 6 speed transmission. Then they have the 10 speed. It have the same features as the 6 speed. Only difference is you have to pay, $4000 extra.

Nenett Ramsarran ... this is a CVT... we dont have 6-speed Accord in Malaysia... the Accord Touring might have something that our Malaysian spec doesnt have it but our Malaysia spec also have something that US Accord touring doesnt have such as 360 degree camera, Honda Lanewatch Camera, rear side windows blinds and the active parking assist... and not to forget our Malaysia Accord being tuned to highest output at 201ps @ 260nm torQue compare to US 1.5 turbo 193ps @ 243nm torQue...

Honestly, it's better to go with the Passat. Not just because of the exterior design, but what the car offers overall. The only advantages the Accord has over the Passat is the interior space and fuel consumption

This 1.5T already cost 200k, if bringing in 2.0T selling at 230k how many people will select Accord over 3 series or C class. 200k already a big turn off, what about 230k?

Honda's designs going downhill. Super ugly with their latest generation designs. Even toyota, KIA & hyundai are stepping up their game.

Honda at it again, over design wheels. These over-kill design especially the rear doesn't make them look good nor elegant. They really need to hire new guy in design department. Look at what Mazda is doing, minimal and elegant.

Hi, I agree the design is ugly and camry definitely looks much better, however in terms of power this is better than the camry old 2.5 na(they should have brought the 2.5 dynamic force that is used globally and in thailand). i would go for accord for the power but if for leisurely drive, than ofkos camry.

@@adkan1995 I'm talking about reliability. 1.5 with turbo dragging such a big car would result in faster wear and tear of the turbo and engine. Yes it's more powerful than the Camry 2.5 but did you ever think about responsiveness n turbo lag when flooring it? Don't look at paper figures but real life. also why would you pay for the same engine as the civic?

Garbage. The paint will be peeling in three to five years. Oh I hope Honda didnt put cheap faulty piston rings and piston heads. Expensive car with very low quality. Get a Toyota Camry.
