This is diffenately my dream bow.... I'm on my way to ordering one.... I've been using a tx-5 for couple of years now.... but I've always want a bow that can reflect my savagery.... in the end of the day you choose that bow that fits properly for your need.... and I think this bow has the property to bring out the beast lurking inside... coming from a rock climbing background going into hunting made me appreciate outdoors even more....

Is the added speed worth the stiff draw and shallow valley vs the draw on the axius or even torrex xlt?

Tried these all last weekend, ended up going with the RX-4 Alpha to be a baby brother to my 2019 helix. Surprisingly I didn't like the draw on the helix turbo at all.

Wish they still got the same performance(over performance) as the nitrum turbo did. I took my NT in with me to compare because I wanted a helix turbo, my nitrum turbo shoots my 502gr arrows at 294, puts me around 358ibo @29/72 The fastest we could squeeze from the HT was 283-284 at the same specs. I personally didn’t feel the draw cycle was any harder/easier from one bow to another.

I shot this bow maxed out in the #2 cam at 28 inch . Got 305 with a 420 grain arrow. Do you know if this is the turbo model they are running for 2021 too? You think they will be coming out with a new one soon?

Was expecting better speeds on a 29" draw out of this bow. My Logic CT3 at 29" and 71lbs shoots 484 grain arrow an average of 290fps and have had speeds up to 294fps.

Must have a gem ct3. My xpedite with 29.125" draw, 72#, 465 grain arrow shoots 296-298. And that's a bow rated way higher than the ct3

  • @bmills231

That's 6-8 fps second faster than my average. I'm not sure what your ibo is for comparison though. I wouldn't think my bow is any faster for the most part than any other ct3 with similar setup, but I've never compared it either so I guess it's possible..

Nice video . Can you please elaborate a bit more on how the draw feels on this bow. I am left handed and in my local bow shop basically there is no any Hoyt (left handed) available to test so i have to guess what is going to be for me. Currently I shoot Bear Cruzer G2 at 28 inch draw and 58 pounds regarding the draw weight we tested with a hand held bow scale at the shop in order to get the correct arrows spine.I am planing to get this at 60 pounds . Your are an expert in the field and you have shot many bows do you thing this bow would work for me at that draw weight I know I can lower it down up to 50 if needed it. With my setup I can pull 40 to 50 shots in about hour and half before I start to get fatigue and inaccurate.I specifically like this bow because I can get it with a module that has maximum draw 28 inches. Normally cams are optimized at the maximum draw at design stage and all other draw lengths are just a compromise. By the way I already bought one sight based on your video review great work. Thanks in advance. Alex

It definitely draws stiffer than the other models, but for a turbo cam its pretty reasonable. I havent really messed with Cruzer much, but this bows cams are much higher performance than the cruzer, so it will almost definitely draw stiffer. That being said, you coukd shoot it at a lower draw weight and still shoot much faster than your Bear at its current draw weight

They changed the name to the Axious Ultra, but it's the same specs as the Helix. I did a review on the RX4 Ultra which will shoot identical speeds to the Axious Ultra, so I'm not sure I'll do one on the Axious. The RX4 Ultra and the Axious ultra are identical interms of specs and speed, but the RX4 is ½lb lighter because its carbon.

Not worth the 8 FPS difference compared to the alpha. Watching you grunt to draw back. It’s quite a workout. I’m guessing let off is 75%. Holding 17.5 pounds is quite a bit. Requires lots of reps and strength building to be consistent. This is why I don’t like my rx1 turbo
