Great walk-around. Very professional and thorough. I spent many years in high end auto sales and can really appreciate one of my sales guys doing a good walk-around. How come this model doesn’t have retractable running boards? If you are paying this kind of money for this truck why can’t that be an option.

I thought I was going to like these new gmc but I think I ended up liking the Chevy better at the dealership here where I live the have both

The new GMC 2500HD has the new 6.6 gas motor which is a very pleasant motor for a heavy duty truck. More HP and TQ over the previous generation 6.0

Already changed brands, Love my Denali. Should have changed years ago.

Man i was hyped for these trucks when i heard about them, but after checking out both the GMC/Chevy in person, i was honestly not all that impressed... Theyre finally catching up to what manufacturers had for a few years now. I opted for the 2019 F250 Platinum which is absolutely amazing, the huge sunroof, large cab (back seat is HUGE), power steps, massage seats. Ford is just far superior with useful tech, and in my opinion styling.

Just talking crap My first truck was a Ram but I think my next is a 19 2500 Denali So close to a deal

Box side steps not a great idea. First time ur buddy uses them to reach in there's your first paint scratch or gouge. Not needed at all. That's why there's a entry tailgate.

Is the AUTO 4 wheel drive an all wheel drive i.e., no all of the time locking diff. In the front like in the past. Point being, can I leave it in auto and still turn on clean dry pavement without forcing the tires to slip due to a locker? I ask this because the old auto did this and I'm curious if it is now a true "all wheel" drive that could be used all the time if going across multiple surfaces that may require turning of dry concrete without having to switch back to 2 wheel drive to avoid wear and tear on diff and steering.

Assume 4 wheel high comes with locking front and back diffs. If not please let me know what it does come with.

You can just leave it in 4 auto on the road. You can’t tell. It’s an awesome feature for me because I snow Plow and going from dry to snow to highway I have to swift a lot in a storm. Very cool and can’t wait to try it in the snow

Hey David! What seems to be the opinion of my customers and I. The trucks are pretty much the same price. Main difference is the tailgate. GMC Has the Multi-Pro as show and the Chevy has a standard tailgate but it does open and close via a button where the GMC will only open. The rest is appearance bias.

All I saw of the interior was buttons. I couldn't get a feel for the size or comfort level.

I like the truck don’t get me wrong. Two little things I don’t like is the plastic fuel door ford did that awhile back and they are junk. And where they put the denali badge on the tailgate it should have been on the left bottom of the tailgate would have looked better.

Those wheels are the only option on the denali (and high country, same wheels)

Do you know what the height of the tailgate is to the ground?

cameras are not in bed with 5th/goose hookups...miss by GMC. Need Camera hookup in bed.

Now is there a way to disable the tailgate because if you have a trailer hutch on it will bang into it and dent it

I believe it has an automatic tailgate open disable function to avoid that problem. (May not be applicable if you're actually back there physically opening the tailgate manually, but then in that case if you drop the gate onto the hitch, that's on you.)

100% free, only charge is when you order new and you come in a pick it up straight off the trailer before we wash it!

Sierra slt 1500!!.,.5.3?!?..Many many recalls!..there’s a new one today?!?..now those handles suck!!.,.The breaks suck!!.,.offbrand other than BOSE sound system sucks had to replace it wt a 3000$ Clairion system!!.,.Those seats hurt on long distances!.,.you can’t see at night needed extra very high power led add ons to roof and front?!? Back break lights degrade!!.,Still can’t find a bulb for replace like after market “good” led. Sucks when your driving in downtown Montreal let me tell ya pulling a everlight 33!!.,fucken thing!! Transmission heats up (even wt a cooler)!!.,the worst thing is the hydro planning and snow buildup to the point you can’t steer the fucken thing!!.,.Had to lift it Nother 3 in!!.,.Now that step to get in gets you stuck wt the snow buildup (forget it!). My wife blew the first engine at 115 km!!.,warranty says it’s ok till 160?!?..but I had to pay for the new engine at the tune of another 13 thow!!.,,and it knocked cause they put in some fucked up injection system till they put in a good one!!.,.Don’t bother getting the extension warranty on that beast they won’t honour it!!.,Your fucked right off the lot on that one!!.,. Still warranty work that needs to be done backheater for drivers seat and now the back panel falls off!!.,They never call when work needs to be done to keep this fucken in the rd!!,,You know Wts I mean bout that!!.,.”intensionally”😉😡 talk bout job security EH mfers!!.,. Paid almost 70 thow to begin Wt!! With all that’s gone wrong wt!!.,.if anyone else would go bankrupt owning this fucker!!,,goddamit!!.,and they called my wife a lier bout it and it was her fault!! 👎 test drove one already. Side mirrors still have a blind spot. Same ole plane Jan interior. Tailgate will hit your hitch if you have one. And them lights above the wheels No thanks. Gave Ford so much crap fir the handle in the tailgate, and there's a handle.

Ya the mirrors are horrible, the seats are super stiff and smaller. I think the 19' style looks way classier. They are going for $70G which is ridiculous for a few cameras, phone charger and gimmicks. just my opinion.

Its a shitttter. Im having problems with limited speed from the def popping up. Tire sensors two have went bad. This is a 18 month old truck with 50k on it now. Ouh and my radio stopped working, it simply would cut off and be blank. The Interior is way dated with the tinny gps screen. And sometimes it feels as its stuck in a gear gets loud rpms shoot up.. this is a outdated shitterr

I agree... living in the salt belt, and if you actually use your truck i can see all the hinges, gaps, etc getting filled up with sand and debris and everything getting fouled up. I can also only imagine what the sticker price is on one of those tailgates if it gets messed up.
