    This was the best review on KZread by far. I really appreciate you taking the time to talk about the towing and payload capacity and showing the GVWR sticker. It’s great to see GM increase the GVWR on the 2500HD and 3500HD single rear wheel trucks. For so long all three makers made very powerful 3/4 ton diesel pickups with paltry payload capacities because they limited GVWR to 9900/10,000 lb. I’ve looked at so many loaded trucks that only had 1800-2000 lb payload. GM hit a home run by rating these trucks in the 11,000-12,000 lb range, and allowing them to really take advantage of that wonderful diesel power. Keep up with the great videos. I’ve subscribed, and I’m glad my Canadian friends really know these truck specs. Good job!

    What I don't like is the driver side floor board has a large hump on the left hand side. it is not comfortable on a long drive. I am not sure what is under the fire wall that makes it not flat, but your left foot has to go under the brake peddle.

    Sorry, the video doesn't show the Trailering numbers very well I'll work on this in our next videos, appreciate the comment. Just to recap ALL 2020 GM TRUCKS have a door jam sticker with all the Towing Information for the truck the way it comes from the factory, each truck will be slightly different as the more equipment and accessories you add you reduce your payload! This truck is a 2500HD Diesel so with a lower trimmed truck you would have higher Payload numbers as an example. But the numbers on this one are GCWR 27,500lbs, Max Payload 3033lbs, Max Ball towing 18,500lbs with a max tongue weight of 1850lbs and lastly is 5th wheel or Gooseneck Max towing is 18,500lbs with a max tongue weight of 2775lbs. Does this help?

    Nice bike I'm riding a KONA myself when I'm not driving my GMC. I would guess GM Canada will have the online configuration up and running on the 2020's within the next 30-60 days as that's when all dealers in the country will have stock available on ground. I totally understand the dilemma of choosing Gas or Diesel I'd honestly say the 6.6L gas is great to drive and has great towing capabilities and its also 9k less than a Duramax but if your towing all the time and its at the upper limit of the gas capabilities I'd recommend going Diesel.

    FYI..... A mechanical locking rear differential Rather thats lever or push button is always better then an automatic locking rear differential Mr. Sales man. That's a proven fact Especially when you go off road... But people who manly just drive on the street It doesn't really matter, automatic would be just fine because The automatic would really never Really have to kick in Unless there was a weather issue Water, snow, black ice... But yeah mechanical locking rear is always better than an automatic in 90% of situations....

  • @WesternGMDrumheller

    Hey thanks for the comment. Yes they are slightly different a little longer so your hamstrings are more supported and a little more bolstered/supportive on the sides. Not tons different but for things to be supportive they are slightly firmer but that could also be because GM is using a higher grade leather than the previous generation.

  • @WesternGMDrumheller

    @WesternGMDrumheller

    5 жыл бұрын

    Hey Aaron appreciate the comment. I hear what your saying but here in Alberta and it translates to most of Canada as a whole, the power boards get frozen up winter time from the slush and potash/salt mix they put on our roads winter time. So for many Canadian's you don't have a 100% functioning board all the time. It might only get gummed up only a handful of days of the year but if you need the board to get in and out of the truck we always recommend a fixed GM 6" Oval board. Here in my neck of the woods we have LOTS of gravel roads which also gum up the power boards too.

    I don't reckon it snows all year long in Canada. I have adaptive cruise control and use it all the time. It's simple enough not to use it in the snow or other conditions where it won't work well. I will not have a pickup without it. It's just too convenient and less tiring to drive during long trips. I was thinking of a Denali for 2020 because I really like its look. The lack of adaptive cruise control is a deal breaker for me.

Spend 1-2hrs ripping your entire CD library and you'll have every tune you own on a USB stick and way more room in your centre console. windowsreport.com/cd-ripper-software-windows-10/

    Download CDex and you'll never have that problem again. It can not only rip CD's for you but it also grabs the artist, song title and Album art that will show up on your Infotainment system the same as a CD. cdex.mu/node/44 or search CDex in Google KZread doesn't like the link for some reason. Now when you have a USB stick plugged in you can push the talk button on the dash and say "Play Foreigner cold as ice" and it'll play that song, its a really smart system!

    Not worth the money fellas. Drove mine for 3 days and took it back. Mirrors rattle on rough roads and don’t feel securely mounted. GM has done away with a number of features like pedal adjust, tilt wheel, phone charger still doesn’t charge an iPhone. The dials in cab are cheap looking and the extra 10 inch wheel base make it hard to maneuver in tight spots. Hard to rely on dealer reviews. They’re a little biased.
