If GE isn't paying you for making this video they really should be. You sound just as knowledgeable and professional, if not more, than their own sales reps I bet.

The only thing I noticed he didn't mention, incase anyone is thinking of buying them. You can turn the lights on inside while washing and drying as well. The light will turn off after a few minutes, but just a cool little thing that I like. 😎

I moved into a brand new apt complex geared towards Affordable Living ,and to my utmost joy and great surprise, these were the washer and dryer units that had been installed in my unit. I've been here a few weeks and was figuring out the settings myself, when I decided to find out how EVERYTHING worked. And VOILA ! This video convinced me to go buy one. I got the exact washer for 599 because someone bought it and dropped it and dented in the metal I took the front off tapped it out with a mallet and i am enjoying my very extremely discounted washer. 😂

Thinking of getting the washer in the same exact scenario you have: scratch and dent. $350 or maybe a bit cheaper if I want to haggle.

I have this washer and dry and they are amazing! I live in the southeast and really really appreciate the ultra-fresh for drying the washer out between wash days. I have had 2 other sets of front loaders, one a Kenmore and another one a Samsung, and these are by far the best ones I have ever had.

We just bought these machines and are in the process of installing them. We replaced Kenmore (Whirlpool) HE3T units that we had for about 15 years. They really worked well, but they were starting to have issues with parts in the washer breaking down. We got our money's worth out of them, so no complaints. The new washer is running its first load right now and it is super quiet. I can't install the dryer yet (we're doing our own installation) because it is a gas dryer and it came set up for natural gas. I have to convert it to lp gas, so I ordered a kit for the conversion. It's going to take about a week to get it, so we can continue to use the Kenmore dryer until it gets here.

I purchased these today without doing research because they were on sale at Best Buy. I had been looking for them at other stores so that I could get more info and no one had anything. Thanks for this review. I’m so excited to have them delivered and ready to use! 😁

We have the identical set. MicroBan my foot. Our tray develops black mold in the dispenser ports and underneath between the blue trim and the tray .You have to take out the soap dispenser and clean it periodically. The bottom trim comes off from the front - release the tabs - the top panel comes off by releasing the tabs at the rear of the tray. Then you'll also find black mold in the cavity where the tray lives. I use bleach spray and reach in with a rough towel after it's worked for a bit. Then I run my shop towels to clear the system

Great video on the GE Ultra-Fresh Front Loading Washer and Dryer pair. We just sold a townhouse with an LG pair. Found the GE Ultra-Fresh Washer Dryer pair online with a very positive review. Having an owner review the GE offering with comments on the LG and Samsung alternatives was very helpful. The ten (10) year warranty from GE and your review has sealed the deal, especially since my significant other LOVES the matt blue color. Oh BTW.. additional kudos for the heads-up on the size differences between the GE Ultra-Fresh Washer Dryer pair vs the LG and Samsung.

My wife and I purchased a new GE Profile washer and dryer about10 years ago and have never had to make a service call. The dryer has a cable that plugs into the washer so they can talk to each other for the best drying cycle. Will definitely purchase these new GE washer and dryer when the time comes to replace these.

Im an appliance installer around Pittsburgh. We always tell people to stay away from Samsung and LG. GE has been putting out some really nice stuff lately.

You convinced me to get these, especially in the Blue color!

MY beautiful set of grey never smelled was perfect for 22 years. one of the first Kenmore made. I keep a beautiful clean room. We moved them twice and finally the seal broke. I COULDNT GET THE SEAL. I cried. I LIVE IN EXTREME HUMIDITY , I just bought this set same same color with pedistal. I do not care about the app so got the less feature option. but love the dry vent.

I think you will be happy with the GE. I have had a GE washer and dryer for many years now and do large to extra large loads 1-2 times a week and have never had an issue with either one. Not sure how well these front load ones will stack up but if anywhere as good as our top load (waher) and non stackable dryer you won't be disappointed. We are moving and looking to buy new washer/dryer for new house. Not worth transporting old units across the US.

I got mine a few weeks ago. I'm very happy. Power Clean cycle use water like a front load washer should. The door has a fixed vent. Ultra Vent dry out my drum when turned on at end of day. Touch control panel is sensitive. And marker on knob is hard to see. Over all I'll give this machine a buy.

I just bought a pair of GE appliances and they work flawlessly! Ill never buy Samsung again, had so many problems with electronics.

I recently bought this set and can’t wait to use them 🤗 having a baby and the fact that the band is removable to clean is really a plus

Just ordered this set today, but won’t be delivered for another month due to back order,s, but this video makes me super anxious and excited to get them and try them out. Thanks for the video.

Great review ! I have the washer and also bought the pedestal from Lowe’s. You are correct about the delivery people and Lowe’s. The really suck😩 When it was delivered my pedestal didn’t have the kit to it. After contacting Lowe’s several times and GE, GE finally said they would charge me $279 for just the pedestal kit. No way I only paid $139 for the pedestal itself. Now I have it unattached to the washer😩

The place we are getting them from wanted almost 500$ extra for them. We didn’t get them. Ours sides up high anyway from the garage itself. So we don’t think we need them

Thank you for making this video! We have had this set for several months now, but haven't had a chance to get into all of the features. I will have to try the link mode, and now that our boys are gone, we can use the Smart Dispense! I like the set, but I noticed that everything has faded and shrinks in the dryer. We previously had Whirlpool machines and didn't have these issues.

You may be using too much detergent and drying at too high a temp.

Back in the day before maytag was bought out and they did the commercials about the maytag repairman being the loneliest guy was because they didn't break down. They also had the least amount of parts. Less parts mean less parts to break.

My dad still has a Maytag dryer, it's like 12-15yrs old. Still works like a champ. The washer broke several times towards the 7-10yr mark. I believe it was the control board a few times, one time it wouldn't spin the clothes after washing, just drain.

I got mine installed the Saturday before mothers day. Once hooked up the washer wouldn't spin a full load, so on mother's day my husband had to load up the washer and drive it back to the store to get a new one. Then the end of june my dryers circuit board stopped working and the part was on back order until end of July. Just had the repair guy out today to put a new board in and so far its working. I'm hoping this well be the last problem with them. Other then those issues I have loved these machines and with a huge household (6 people) I love how big the washer is. The wash and dry does not really dry a small load but I've dried 3-4 small things in it and its done the job but it takes like 8hrs for it to dry the clothes.

My grandmother has had GE washer and dryer for some 12 years now. Only had to replace a gasket on the washer and a fuse on the dryer.

Any issues in particular with these GE appliances since you've purchased them?

Thx for the great review of the GE Laundry Center as looking at them to replace Frigidaire Front Loading Pair that bit the dust after 15 yrs! Thx!!!

We were so lucky. Our 16 year old LG washer started leaking through the front door seal. We have a home warranty and found out LG no longer sell parts for our washer. American Home Warranty replaced the washer giving several options for the new washer. They recommended the GE which we agreed. We did have to pay for the stand, but it was only $125 dollars. We love the GE and will replace our LG dryer with the matching GE dryer.

I certainly enjoy mine...great review by the way

Yeah, the electronic boards in dryers tend to go bad quite often and sometimes they will end up causing other things to go out with it when it goes bad and that’s why most washer and dryer sets only have a 5 to 7 if not 8 year lifespan since parts become obsolete since they usually discontinue the parts when the next model comes along. Interesting thing is my 1963 RCA Whirlpool Imperial dryer is all original and still works 57 years later and still has its original heating element and thermostats and still functions like new after all these years.

I bought the same GE washer and dryer with pedestals in the blue after the same exact samsung washer and dryer he had went bad.... love the extra large capacity compared to the old Samsung ones.

One of the things I loved about my LG was chibi, a Japanese thing where appliances sing to you. It was just kinda cute. Better than an anonymous BUZZZZ! from across the house, and the different tunes told you what it was doing.
