This is some great stuff here and what I like best is only hearing the sounds of the F18's and F16's flying. No loud/stupid music and nobody talking is the best and only way to truly the only way to hear things.

I got to watch the Blue Angels and the Viper demo team last year. The F-16 doing low level BFM was arguably one of the coolest things I've ever witnessed.

Dang was that ever AWESOME! Makes me proud to live here in AMERICA land of the FREE!! Yes, it does. I never get tired of this and hope I never will.

This is very awesome they need to book the thunderbirds and blue angels together at more shows. At least 3 times a year

Its a shame they changed that. I remember as a kid the Thunderbirds would do a trick and it would be faster than the speed of sound. It was great.

Awesome video! Random question. Why does Thunderbird 3 fly with a fuel tank(or is it a fuel tank)? The last time I saw the Thunderbirds years ago when I was a child I don’t remember them flying with it. I’ve tried to find something on the web about it and haven’t come across anything yet.

I believe that the reason why the Thunderbirds stay in fingertip until the top of the diamond burner loop is because the tail cap on the slot airplane is not designed to withstand the heat of the burner on the boss' airplane. On the F/A-18s, they don't have that issue because the twin vertical stabs are separated and canted outward.

Finally the Thunderbirds and the Blue Angels...😊😮😢

There's rumors that they're currently training together for a nation-wide city flyover. I heard they'll be together on the east coast covering DC, New York, that kinda thing, then they'll split up and the Blue Angels would go west and do flyovers out there while the Thunderbirds wow the south and midwest cities. Sorry North Dakota, I think you'll miss it. Anyway, I hope the rumors are true. I'd love to see the Air Force scream through Cincinnati

NAS Pensacola, the home base of the USN Blue Angels, is hosting the USAF Thunderbirds as I write this, in "joint practice sessions" so the joint flyover schedule; and later on when the teams will separate and thrill thousands in the skies over major cities, should be announced soon. Of note, something that has not happened over the skies above either San Francisco and San Diego in 25 years = "low altitude" flyovers (normally 6 passes in different tangent grids) by the USAF Thunderbirds! - www.KRON4.com/news/blue-angels-and-thunderbirds-to-fly-over-us-cities-in-honor-of-essential-workers/

I have a question, it seems like I see more performances from the Blue Angels than the Thunderbirds, are there different teams that perform in different parts of the U.S. or just 1 team of each that travel and perform? Di Regis it depends on the schedule they both travel all over. Some years I see the Blue angels a lot and others I see The Thunderbirds a lot

Yes definitely seems scary but with the altitude instruments they have on board they know exactly how high and low they both are so they can easily pass each other without fear of contact.

While both teams are amazing and entertaining I am shocked by just how much more agile the F-16 is over the F-18. I thought they were much more closely matched.

Toby Allred f-16 has higher thrust to weight ratio that single engine is so powerful you could sit the f-16 on its tail and lift off like a rocket. The airframe is very lite with that super powerful engine

I know your comment is from two years ago, but chiming in to note that the F-16 is more controllable and precise at higher speeds than the Hornet. That’s why the Thunderbirds fly at higher speeds during their show and why they don’t fly as close to each other as the Blues during the diamond 360.

@@Brian_Christensen07RC sorry But yes there is differences in the aircraft AND VERY BIG DIFFERENCE IN THE AIRFORCE PILOT And NAVAL AVIATORS. NAVAL AND MARINE CORPS AVIATORS ARE TRAINED TO BE THE BEST OF THE BEST. Airforce pilots are trained to fly airplanes with an emphasis on play golf.

@Bruce Baker have you seen either teams in person? The Thunderbirds obviously can’t do what the blue angels do. At the same time the Blue angels can’t do what the Thunderbirds do. Also, the Airforce pilots don’t need to know how to do a disassociated tour. If we are talking about Navy and Airforce you won the argument but if we’re talking about flight teams that’s strictly an opinion.

Is Blue Angel 6 out since the accident! We love our Blue Angels! Seen them once at Naval Airbase Corpus Christi Tx. Along with Big Bertha! Would like to see the ThunderBirds! Hopefully they will bring the Air show to San Antonio TX. Kelly Air Force base! The best of the United States of America! God bless our Military!

Killer Hornets on the loose.

Let's face it.....the Angels are the better team. And I'm an old Air Force brat. My dad flew fighters. And when you can land on a boat, you're just better. The tightness of the formations, the degree of overlap- lack of spacing, makes the Navy the better US demonstrator. But in the world?; I wouldn't go that far. Instead, I'd suggest any of the larger teams....because of the complexity of MORE "moving parts".

Why don't you break some windows and make some noise over us for once!!!!!!!
