except for faster CPU there is not much difference. its the same panel on C8. So, yes, I would think that most of settings will be true for C8 as well. @@ozieaev I used all the exact settings on my C8 and the picture is stunning. I was getting soo frustrated at all the videos out there on settings and all of them looked horrible until this one. Thank You.

did you look at Freeview ? www.samsung.com/uk/support/tv-audio-video/do-samsung-tvs-have-freeview-built-in/.Also if Channel plus APP is not on you TV, did you try to download it as APK file ? Hi, Oleg I have a Philips OLED 803 and a Denon AVR X1400h and the problem is HDMI ARC because it can not Passtrough Lossless audio like TrueHd Atmos even though Kodi 18.1 is installed on this OLED with androidTV. So I was looking for a mediaplayer that I could connect to my receiver to play Dolby TrueHD Atmos from a usb 3.0 stick any suggestions? And yes I would like to know how to add a Atmos track to a video.

Hi. I looked on Denon site, you receiver supports Dolby Atmos, so should work. From source side of things, what are you using ? I have Minix U9h, but there are more recent models already. Key here is that it supports Dolby Atmos. Do you have Apple TV 4k ? It also supports Dolby Atmos. If you need support for USB 3, I would select Minix (link to the video about my Minix setup is in the description) Just look at most recent model with Dolby Vision support or at least HDR10 support. Also, you need proper HDMI cable v1. 4 and up. You need to see Dolby TrueHD support on Android first, than Kodi will list it as enabled option.

@@ozieaev Thanks for your quick response, The frustrating part is that the Oled 803 runs on Android Oreo and has AndroidTv where I have Kodi running. The OLED 803 has a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 with 2GB RAM, and a Mali-T860 GPU and 16GB internal memory should make a good media player BUT the limitations of ARC doesn't allow Lossless audio like TrueHD And DTS-HD so therefore also Atmos and DTS:X over this. Lossless Audio is supported since HDMI 1.3 and ARC since HDMI 1.4 The TV and Receiver both have HDMI 2.0b so also HDR10+, DolbyVision Dynamic support. NOW I have to buy a AndroidTV Box with similar CPU and GPU as the TV already has just to have LossLess audio into my receiver over HDMI. I was hoping you would have a solution to get just LossLess audio from my tv to the reciever, but it looks like I will have to buy a Android Shield for € 200,- to have it all. This was a site I came across with alot of AndroidTV boxes and there specs. chigztech.com/charts.html

@@testground7414 you use arc to have one remote ? Did you try port without arc, just HDMI ?

@@testground7414 you will need HDMI 2.1 support to have both Arc and Atmos. Including both ports on receiver and TV.

@@testground7414 from what I am reading about Philips TV OLED 804/854 offers Dolby Atmos support. But not 803.

You can convert your BD disks over to MKV, assuming that original got True HD sound track or DTS HD. The other option would be to try search torrent sites for 7.1 sound tracks to movies and then add True HD sound to your movie :).

Its getting harder to download just a sound track. professional calibration is great as they use specific tools to set up colors and balance right. But most of the settings will stay as LG recommended. You can apply these and check if more fine tuning required - call these guys, but seriously doubt you will need to as your TV is new and nobody messed up settings... Part of white balance in my video was done based on the other person experience working with professional calibration team. In most of the cases white balance is kept based on automatic presets...
