2019 U.S. Open Film: "Woodland Peaks At Pebble Beach"

Спорт

Gary Woodland arrived at Pebble Beach (Calif.) Golf Links for the 2019 U.S. Open eager to shake the sentiment that he was one of the top players in the game to have not won a major championship. By the time he left the Monterey Peninsula, it was a sentiment he would never have to face again. Exclusive extended version not seen on TV! In partnership with Rolex.
The United States Golf Association (USGA) conducts many of golf's most prestigious championships, highlighted by the U.S. Open, the U.S. Women's Open and the world’s premier amateur championships. Based in Liberty Corner, N.J., the USGA governs the game in the U.S., its territories and Mexico.

Loved that. Didn't matter that he was out of contention. He had been battling against Gary for two straight days and instead of being in a bad mood about how his tournament was finishing up, he recognizes Gary's exceptional shot with that freaking awesome fist bump. I was already a Gary fan - Wilson irons are the best! - that made me a Justin Rose fan as well though.

What a great story. So happy for Gary who really does appear to be a nice guy. I also enjoyed the smile on Justin Rose's face after Gary sunk that putt on 18. It looks like he was genuinely happy for him and the moment.
