Saw them in person, 2 of them at the same local dealership just by a few tiny months apart recently. An Incredibly awesome looking hi-lux rig it truly is. One in Chocolately Havana Brown which I took pictures of, the other in Pearl White Tricoat several weeks after. The brown one was fully loaded(all 9 active buttons in the bottom of the stereo/nav)with Z71 and a 5.3L, the white one was almost a Base version with just standard equipment, no options(no Z71 and only seven active and 2 blank buttons 😔) and a 6.2L. Didn't get to sit in either one, but from the glance I took, the leather seats look fabulous and tastefully stitched and artisticly patterned. The steering wheel looks very bold with a much better layout and the two-tone caramel brown/black scheme really amps it up almost 2 fold and I soooooo love that grill with the bronze accents on each side. To me, definitely a more than significant looking step-up from the last-generation High Country trim. My High Country will no doubt be this red color or black with those wheels, 6.2L V8, Z71 and ALL the options and safety features(including an engine block heater... after all I am living in a snow belt state and I want NO problems starting my engine in the extreme cold temps, especially in a possible blizzard) I can get, with or without the power running boards. P.S.: Now, if GM can offer that 2 inch spacer lift aside the Trail Boss model from the factory like they are rumored to for other trims including this model at the customer's request, that would be excellent.

Bought a 18 High Country 6.2L and it's a beast. As far as a 4 banger over the 6.2L never!! Also the interior it's not much different than mine other than push button start and proximity key, rear vents and a few other none interested options I'll be keeping what I have. I seen one in person a week ago I'm not super impressed but to each his own.

High Country = high price!! I like it though! Will have to stick with something under 40K!!

I have always love chevy trucks first one I ever had was a 1986 suburban i hated the 2019 silverado when i first saw the pics but I have to say it has grown on me and then i went to a gm dealer and saw the new silverado in person I have to saw I still do not like the 2019 work truck but the rst is my favorite I wish GM wouldnt have used the aluminum on parts on the truck after seeing what hail does to a f150 but I guess that's the future

I bought a 2019 Silverado a few weeks ago and I love it. I got the Z71 RST All Star Edition. I wish the RST came with the same 2" lift kit that the Trail Boss does, but maybe one day I will get one added to it. I went with RST over Trail Boss because the blacked out front end & rear bumper on TB makes it look like a work truck more than an aggressive off road machine.

This guy makes me want to buy a Chevy I'm a spec's person at the end of the day

I liked the 2010 f150 but since now they look like shit with there front bumpers I’ll only buy things with superior specs once Chevy has the superior specs I will buy them

I would like to see a test for the tailgate if something is to big and or blocks it if it will try to shut still or have a safety switch to stop it from going up.

Thinking about buying High Country. Ps Mine comes in on the 9.

That tailgate would come in handy for me when I decide to run the camera light

When I first saw the new Silverado I was on the fence about it but once I went to the Texas automotive show in Fort Worth I fell in love with the truck , once you see this truck in person and actually sit it one it’ll change your mind about them same being said for the GMC Sierra

I don't think I've seen a '19 Silverado yet

I love the truck and I will be trading my ram in the new year, but why did Chevrolet make the front passenger seat manual on the trail boss? That truck is also missing heated and cooled seats as well. GM has some work to do...

Saw the 2019 Silverado High Country in Florida and loved it. A lot of great features even on the basic edition. The middle cargo area is truly deep enough to store most items.

Yes I like it but will have to wait till a used one comes in my price range but then it will be a rust bucket so my as well keep my 09 chevy Lt with 4 wheel drive I only gave $12,000 for it with 130,000 miles just broke in will run for ever

Yeah this high country is not better than the limited and has less features than the ford. And our raptor engine is way better and faster. So I'll stick with ford thank you.

I have seen it and it is a beautiful truck, the one thing that could definitely use an update is the infotainment screen.

Did Chevy ever fix the Death Rattle in the front ends .......I got one what a nightmare ........had to go to a different Company ......and what sucks is I was a GM loyal fan and GM let me down as I contacted them and got nothing

The look is growing on me. The 2019 Silverado looks better than the 2019 Sierra imho. I think the trail boss looks the best, hopefully I can get a Trail Boss LTZ with a 6.2 someday, since they do not make them yet, or I’ll just get a 3/4 ton Silverado for my next truck.

I originally live in Canada but I travelled to Kentucky recently and I saw a dealership with new silverados, however I couldn't get a good look at them. And then the other day I saw a trailboss in the distance but only the side of the truck. But I can say from looking at the videos that they are not bad looking trucks at all.

I really miss how the high country had only brown interior I think it was ‘17 when they offered black interior and how had they special wheels. with this generation most them have the black interior and generic wheels the high country now just seems like every other generic luxury truck. It’s not bad looking but you gotta have the brown interior and the big wheels those 20’s look goofy on a almost 60 grand truck.

love the Silverado, sierra not so much where it was opposite for the 2018 models, loved the sierra. Gm should make the big digital gauges display on the Ltz trim too, I dont get it why they didn't. look at ford and ram. and 6.2 on highcountry or Denali only? come on...

You can have those gauges in the LTZ too. It's in the Technology Package option.

What is the purpose of the USB-c ports in the truck? Aren't those style ports mostly used for charging inputs and not for output?

My friends father in-law bought one and it's a gorgeous truck, the only thing I dislike is that the interior doesn't seem as sleek as the exterior.

I agree with the silliness of a power tailgate. They are just LOOKING for something to add on. And $60K? Right up there with the overpriced Ford F-150. The secret is, putting a lot of cool stuff on the new pickup and - COST LESS THAN A FORD.

Got to see and sit in a 2019 Chevy Silverado High Country at the Lone Star Rally in Galveston Texas last weekend. Tested the tail gate up/down. Awesome! But still too rich for my blood for a truck! We will continue to keep Mama's 2007 Avalanche.

I already seen both the Silverado and the Denali and guess what I purchased the 2019 Sierra Denali nice looking truck!

I’ve always been a Ford F-150 fan but that doesn’t mean you can’t comment on another truck. The new Silverado is a nice looking truck, especially the High Country model. The new umber interior is sweet. I can see why folks would love to own this truck. Love the red color, but the Pearl sounds like a better color, haven’t seen that color yet but the pearl color with the umber interior would probably be my first choice. Mike, IIRC, the Borla system is only available for the 5.3.

I've seen a 2019 black and white z71 Silverado and honestly I felt like trading in my 2017 Silverado for that but I realized it was twice as much as my current truck if I had the money I would do so with out hesitating

My question is, can you get both interior colors with any available paint scheme? Often when doing the web build options it won’t let you. I would like the North Sky Blue with brown/Black interior.

Great video, as always, Dude! That beautiful truck sure has a lot of cool features! And I think it's pretty good-looking even in pictures. Obviously a lot of people buy pickup trucks because they occasionally need their unique capability (e.g. towing, hauling, etc.), but they use them 'primarily' for personal transportation. So it's nice to see manufacturers making trucks that are as civilized as this one. Keep up the great work, Mike. If I get around to buying a brand-new vehicle, I'm coming to you ;)

A ford commercial came on your video and it kept mentioning how it is better than the toyota in this and that, kept mentioning the totyota and then the rest. Seems ford considers toyota as his real competition

I wish i would pay 60 for that truck. Doesn’t even come equipped like the new RAMS

I can buy a $2.00 hamburger and get whatever I want on it. But buy a $60,000 truck and Chevrolet limits your exterior and interior options. You can’t get a Silverado LTZ or High Country in Red hot. You can get red hot in the LT, but only with jet black interior. I also don’t believe you can get navigation with an LT unless it’s ungraded by the dealer.

When you buy an new high country, in my case I’m looking into the 2018 hc but it has the standard 20 inch rims, would you have to work some 22 inch rims into the deal or a swap the oem hc rims, btw this is my first NEW vehicle purchase.

Seen it,touched it, it’s a very impressive machine, also very expensive.

I'd love to trade my 06 Silverado in for a 2019 trail boss or high country, but it sounds like Chevy is officially out of my financial reach these days. Maybe I'll be able to afford a used one in a couple of years.

I've seen the 2019 Silverado and it's nice. I just wished Chevy would have made the interior more like the 2019 Dodge Ram...

F150 Limited is much more luxurious and more powerful.

Tbh the high country is not as nice or even close as nice as the ford limited I saw the ford limited and it had way more features and luxury then the high country

Trick is to get it in black, add black wheels, 33s and running boards, chrome stands out nice against all that
