Had the same cam in mime and extensively Dyno tested it. Results were that it actually loses a bit of power down low but mid-top end gains ranged from 20 to 26% better than the stock cam. The low end loss is normal for a longer duration cam but what impressed me was it’s not as much of a loss as it should’ve been. Road Glide... the only Harley to buy IMO

If you’re thinking about a cam upgrade check out Woods 22X or Redshift 468/472. You will get amazing sound and wide torque band with the pipe you have already.

I purchased back in June of 2022 a brand new Street Glide Special 114. 8 months later, I am considering a 131 Stage IV kit instead of a 135 Crate Engine replacement. Is a 131 now cheaper since the 135 is being produced? The wait for my area in Pennsylvania for a 135 is likely up to December or later when it is officially released for here compared to scheduling a 131 kit upgrade next week. I am just trying to weigh my options. Looking for any comments, thoughts, or suggestions for this upgrade. Stage I, II,III, IV, or wait for the 135 crate engine?

I had dealer screaming eagle stage 2 and went to s&s 475 To be honest the s&s is faster and takes off by alot after mid range but you only notice this full throttle on the freeway.. majority of street riding the s/e stage 2 was probably better for the bottom end and if i could go back i wouldve left the s/e stage 2 The s&s 475 is laggy off lights and requires more revs if not blipping before you take off where as the s/e is effortless and doesnt bog out off the start like the s&s does (maybe the 465 would be better for what i like) Also when cruising i find i now need to be down one gear with the s&s in 5th or 4th instead of 6th on the freeway to actually enjoy its pull The only thing i truly love about the 475 is the sound but for street rideability s/e wins Bike is well tuned with exhaust/cleaner Just my 2 cents Next bike will be sticking to a real down low cam most likely s/e Highly reccomend going staight to the dealer stage 2 though and skipping stage 1, nice difference off the start and the way the bike should come from factory Love the bikes but the all black looks supreme

Does your dads bike have RDRS and if so how is your tuner overriding it? I'm being told that they are having problems tuning bikes with RDRS.

Yes it does.. And I'm not sure how they are over riding it, but it still works correctly after the tune. Fuel Moto is a great company to work with, they know what they're doing!

DOOWORK PRODUCTIONS I’ll have to look into that. A local performance shop is telling me that the tts mastertune is the only tuner that they can get to work properly with rdrs as far as it not limiting your torque.

@@1962egl Fuel Moto has to know if you have RDRS and they tune for it. They do have the ability to tune with RDRS. That is the first thing that I checked when I put the tune on. I made sure everything (RDRS) worked with hill hold and rain traction control. The tune that comes from Fuel Moto says RDRS right on it.

Mike LaBarge good to here. I’ve been reluctant to do the stage 2 in my bike because of what I have been told. I have a 2020 road glide special in zephyr blue with rdrs myself. I was thinking I might have made a mistake getting rdrs. I will go with it now. I will go with the woods 22x-e cam though. Thanks

Any chance y'all put the bike on a Dyno to get numbers on it? Everyone I talk to is telling me the only tuner that they are having any kind of luck with on the RDRS is the tts master tune. And that has its limits. They all telling me the power vision will limit how much performance you can get out of the bike .

I am using a custom made phone holder.. I got the mount itself off Amazon, then I screwed it to a GoPro mount and mounted it to my tank..

For a real comparison should be in the same gear for the roll ons. Gear ratio does not change with a cam install.

Also, your Dad looks to be 60-80lbs heavier than you.... With its "Stage1"(Lloydz high-flow AF, Cobra Tri-Oval mufflers and a Power Commander V) my 106ci Victory dyno'd at 91hp \ 101tq. I ran like this for a season then installed Lloydz VM1 cams and the bike gained 21hp and 12 tq... to dyno at 112hp \ 113tq👍 So yea, cams made a huge difference in actual performance and feel, not to mention how much better the thing sounds :) Also, I've had this "Stage 2" for 4 years now, I hammer on this bike, its approaching 70k miles and I've had ZERO issues from these upgrades, the engine is solid as ever.
