Did you mean to say 'mental incapacity'? that an average person is not capable to process high speed driving? well the capabilities of our brain (or mind as I should say) is not the case here because our mind is the most powerful being of energy which makes it's capabilities infinite ...anyways, whether you can drive well or not at high speeds is purely based on the experience of the driver. Drove a pre-facelift Macan S about a week ago with the Sport Chrono package. Quite the machine, power was definitely good but the main thing, like all Porsches, is the connection with the driver. The handling and transmission are insane

I think the rear looks gorgeous but i also liked the rear of the old one.

Can’t wait for mine to arrive mid-late summer. Been a long 3yrs lol. So stoked. Awesome video as usual keep up the great work!

Just bought one of these to replace my 2018 Cayenne Turbo as a daily. Alright, it's not as quick and doesn't make as nice a sound, but considering it cost £70,000 LESS than the Cayenne makes it a truly incredible car. Lovely car, just wish it had the updated dash from the 992/Panamera/Cayenne.

No mention of the twin scroll turbo and V90 engine....the real upgrade. I had the original 2016 Macan S and now have the Macan S MKII (MacAngus 2) and the engine pulls so smoothly without any fuss.

I’ve been liking the Porsche Macan for a while now but recently I’ve been looking at the Jeep Wrangler unlimited rubicon, but honestly i think the Porsche Macan is the way to go.

Agree 100%! 4 banger is not enough in a heavy SUV like the Macan! If your not a performance orientated driver an AKA a soccer mom who only wants the Porsche badge then I guess but a performance driver won't be happy with it! Go for the 6 cylinder at the minimum !

I would get the macan

You need to try a GTS with a performance package plus a lowered suspension kit ( it forces to use 20” because how low its rides). You won’t have any struggles at 240 lol . But where I live those speeds could land you in jail if you posted a video. Also look into P98 colour :) . Love your videos

Its super confusing which model year macans have 3.0 single turbo and which ones have 2.9 biturbo. Also some of them get 4.6s 0-100 and some do only 5.3?

Who needs more speed than this...

Holy hell! $150,000 US for a Macan????????!!!!!???? The cost of living in the Netherlands must be extraordinarily high! Anyway... I also prefer the physical buttons on the console.

Cost of living in general is not that bad, it's just that new ICE cars (especially sporty ones with higher CO2 output) are taxed insanely high (climate change hysteria).. Next to the standard 21% sales tax (BTW) you also have to pay extra BPM tax which is most likely higher then the BTW on a car like this.. 0-emissions cars do not have to pay that BPM tax and you also get major tax cuts when you corporate lease them, which is why you see relatively so many Tesla's in The Netherlands..

Isn’t the purpose of an up market brand to offer expensive vehicles for sale ALREADY packed with a sh*t load of standard equipment ? I mean, for instance air suspension is standard on some Audi RS. Why « go Porsche » then? I don’t care if base price is much higher, it’s just nonsense having to add so many things that should come as standard.

I would never drive that fast for fear of getting a tire failure. If that happens I suppose you're history.

Great review. I will have to partially disagree with you on the Macans rearward appearance. I loved the elegant, minimalist look of the previous version and thought that Porsche should have stayed with this approach with all of their cars. Having said that, I do love this new look. Different but just as awesome.

Why is the dragy speedometer always a few KMH behind the cars speedometer?

Most cars speedometers are overestimating your speed so they won't get sued when you get a speeding ticket. Also, when your tires wear the diameter gets smaller, and thus the circumference gets smaller. This equals less distance traveled for the same amount of wheel revolutions. I think dragy uses gps, which is not calculated via the amount of wheel revolutions, and therefore more accurate.

It uses GPS so it takes a bit longer to update the speed. Also the speedometer shows a higher number than you are actually going therefore it also seems like it is a few km behind.
