There is another hidden option for the boot height. Open the boot. Once open, pull the boot down to the height you want and then press the left top button down until it beeps. You have now set a new height limit. This is a great little option as the height of our garage door when open is too low compared to the height of the boot.

You missed one trick....If you go back into the settings you can program the diamond button on left side of the steering wheel. When you scroll through the setting and see a diamond, select it and you can select what you want the diamond button to activate.

I love the “hold” function which engages when stopped on 5 degree or more slopes. This allows you to take your foot off the brake while waiting. You can manually turn it on any time your stopped by giving the foot brake an extra hard push

Yes, and those are two distinct but similar features which are often confused (auto hold and hill hold). Most other automakers (BMW, Audi, Volvo, Cadillac, etc) have a button to enable auto hold, which automatically applies the brake (and "holds") the vehicle regardless of slope every time you stop it.

You got 'coast mode' slightly wrong. What it actually does is essentially disengage the clutch pack(s), so the car is freewheeling, this prevents the car from slowing down due to engine breaking which normally occurs when off the throttle. This does not happen if you have the stop/start turned off or if you have sport mode selected 👍🏻

Don't forget about the storage drawers under the front seats.

On the 2016 Cayenne, when you press the rear window lock function on the drivers door, not only does it deactivate the rear window switches, it also deactivates the read heated seat buttons (of fitted obvs). I thought the heated seats were sporadically malfunctioning until I finally worked it out the other day.

Something I would have never found on my own and was pointed out by my dealer: the heated steering button is located at 6 o'clock behind (but on) the steering wheel.

If you have the tow bar fitted and someone unplugs the electrics from e.g. trailer or bike-rack when the car is locked, the alarm will sound. Also, the speed limit display will give alternative speed limits for towing, and an extra turn signal light shows up when indicating to show trailer etc lights are working correctly. You’re welcome.

@@paulv5283 here in US, a lots of cars including my 10 years of year Lexus able to start remotely which is a plus for winter and summer. My wife ev has that feature no doubt. I just wish My macan s has that as much as I love driving it!

ps - knew all the other things but one I only found yesterday was the headlight wash/splash. I always have the lights on auto so it does not work unless the lights are physically on or in auto mode then dark. switch the lights to on and the headlight splash button under the stalk sprays the lights - marvellous 🙂

Not one item mentioned here is a secret. All either standard setup, in the manual or you will find by normal daily use. And by the way, window up with remote feature is not standard in US due to regulation and requires programming or a module, consider editing your video on this point!

If you hold the rear hatch button it will store a height setting to allow it to only open as far as you want. 👍

Try your “key tricks and features” with a Porsche Macan 2022 or 2023 and you will find out that not all tricks and features works with the new models….unfortunately!!!

If you are in auto mode and behind traffic in a low gear you can blip your throttle and the gear box will down shift to the correct gear for overtaking or accelerating away quickly. If you don't move off quickly after a short period of time the gear box will revert back to a lower gear.

The tail botton had memory. When you want to close always at same high, stop the closing process and keep your finger and you get a bip and .. voila

I had mine replaced in September. 2017 Macan S. No charge. Great car !!!! Adding a 911 to the “ fleet” in April.

I never knew you can fold the mirrors with the key outside of the car.

Apparently, Porsche decided to take away the "Key trick" that allows you to roll the windows all the way down in the 2016 Macan S. Dang.

You haven't been given the method of how to get the vehicle lock without using the key after 30 seconds.

perma adjust the height by holding the boot button at the desired height, then it'll keep it at that height forever
