    You know my brother n law just bought a new KTM and ended up having to buy a new carb for it, which I feel is going to scare off some from buying one. I personally think you did a great review of Chases bike. Okay dad get off the boys bike and lets hear his thoughts or is he being bashful haha. Congrats Chase and I hope you have many trouble free rides out of the husky. Good luck to yall. Stay safe

    The carbs are the weak link for sure. I rode it for 20 minutes and I thought Chase was going freak out, lol

    So is there any big difference between the linkage te and the no link ktm. How does the te handle woods vs the ktm ?

  • @DirtBikingwithDonnie

    @DirtBikingwithDonnie

    4 жыл бұрын

    Chase likes linkage better because he likes to ride tracks occasionally. As far as woods riding the TE seems to handle every bit as well as my KTM with PDS.

    Dirt Biking with Donnie and Chase I was going to say. I seen the sheet metal spread throughout the video on the side of the trail from where the tornadoes went through a few years back. I guess I have never found those two trails. I like how the have the straight always so you can hit those small jumps and keep a good pace going. And there’s no sand like all the other trails.

    @@DirtBikingwithDonnie Darn that's about 5 hours from me. It looks like a really nice place. I live in SC and there is hardly anywhere to ride here but my own place and my trails don't flow like that I just got a lot of tight single track. Thank you for replying also!

    I guess for tight technical single track it would be ideal. Not so much power that it tries to kill you every chance it gets, but enuf power to hop a log or snatch it up a small rock face. I really bad wanna hate on that bike but to be honest, the only thing I can think to hate on is that its ugly, which is a common trait with husky lol they're all ugly and awkward looking. Other than the cosmetic side, I think you have a nice single track weapon there for real.

    @@DirtBikingwithDonnie come to think about it, one of my buddies has a 2017 or 18 te300 that he wants to sell and I'd imagine you can get it relatively cheap. He bought it to tag and ride on the rd but hes rich af with a garage full of gasgas and ktm and rode it and didn't like it so its been sitting in the corner ever since. If you want to see some pics I can get some and whatever he wants for it. Dont know where you are but you sound southern lol and I'm in east Tennessee so we cant be to far apart.

    @@DirtBikingwithDonnie I know the feeling brother lol. I dropped about 2500+ over the winter rebuilding mine and my wifey liked to shit herself when she found out. But, I truly believe that its easier to ask forgiveness than it is to ask permission, especially when its about spending money and the wifey is a serious roadblock 😈. Explaining some of it was comical tho, like all the stainless steel nuts and bolts. She was like, how/why did you spend 200 dollars on bolts when you had to have taken some out taking it apart? Answer, umm, because they're shiney!!! 😎
