That V8 is a tune away from 500hp! It really sounds nice, active exhaust is a much welcomed option..

That's what i love about my 2019.5 GT Shadow blk on blk prem/Performance pk 1.

At full throttle I love how it shifts. Maybe day to day it might be annoying but at full throttle it sounds awesome and shifts quick

Prius ppl are usually delivery drivers so they drive much faster than normies

Whether you like his reviews or not, you gotta love to watch a guy having the time of his life doing a test drive and giggling like a child. It’s what the mustang is meant to be. Obvious that you don’t just review cars dude you love them... and that is cool

Damn this is the best driving video he filmed since the f type and f pace s. What i like the most is his reaction to the driving dynamics it makes me feel like i myself is driving the V8

FYI, a large number of 2015-2018 Coyotes develop engine noise that is believed to be piston slap. The 2019 is a slight redesign. We don't yet know if those are affected yet.

Not necessarily, but you can get there in style. And the trunk has 12 cubic feet so you can haul decently.

I have no idea what you’re talking about with the transmission being confused. The transmission is bulletproof. Best transmission ford has built and it was built with the v8 in mind. I have heard of it being weak on the ecoboost, but in my experience with my GT, it is perfect. People will just have to test drive it to see for themselves.

It’s a TERRIBLE transmission. I own one and agree with everything he said about it. It’s slow and hesitant, but then jerky and frantic. Check out the 70 page long complaints on the forums about this transmission.

The 6th gen Mustang is definitely the best muscle car on the market right now... sure it's not the most powerful, but it's got relatively good visibility (I know visibility isn't great on a muscle car, but the Mustang has pretty good visibility), and it's comfortable to drive. I rented and drove a 2016 model and I felt very comfortable driving it. :)

Just seeing your reaction...is priceless..almost makes me want one.

Just copped a lightly used GT premium California Special in race red. Absolutely highly recommend.

When I was your age, the Infotainment system for my car was an AM/FM stereo and smokey burnouts in a Fox Body Mustang GT with T-Tops and Flowmaster exhaust. 😂

Love the 10speed auto if you like to drag race and roll race the 10 speed is way to go its fast and everytime change the gear you can feel the power especially in drag mode and sport plus mode the top end is nasty..its a beast and i love it..👍👍👍

Funny you mentioned the rental fleet, I actually did rent one of these on a trip out west and drove from San Diego to LA. Had a great time, would buy one if I lived somewhere warmer.

Calisto Riviera Just got a 2017 GT few weeks ago. I bought 255 Continental DWS06 tires. So far I love them. Will have to wait til winter comes back. However, I drove my Ecoboost with the Stock Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S over the winter (NYC) with no issues.

@@KiNGMe21 this was my 3rd winter and I keep my tires in my car 2 in the Trunk and behind the driver's seat and they are not mounted on Rims for extra weight in the Winter, my car never went sideways in the winter with full snow or icy roads or got wheel spin. I live in NH.

I've rented a Mustang convertible 4 times now. Two V6 in 2017 where I live in Canada and then two EcoBoost 4 on two Florida winter vacations. I plan to buy one but put it in storage over the winter. Rear wheel drive cars don't handle the road well during the winter in my part of the country anyway... even with winter tires.

I had this same exact car, less the performance package, last week as a rental. What a riot. I totally agree on the transmission though, it so jerky in normal mode, like it is on edge. I thought maybe it was due to it being a rental car but I guess that's just the programming. Seriously considering purchasing one.

I upgraded all of mine (toilet seats) before selling my house - increased the value by about $19,000 - kitchen upgrade - bah! Crapper seat flocking - what sold the home!

13:04 a 2001 Acura CL even automatically moves the seat forward on the track when you pull the latch lol. And they all had power seats

So funny that you live / drive in my area where i live!

Can’t wait to see you review the GT500, also you need a manual transmission in any sports car.

I couldn't agree with you more on the 10 speed. I have a 2019 GT coupe with the 10 speed and I hate the way it shifts. Its like the transmission speaks Spanish and the Engine speaks English.

Are you driving in regular drive mode or Sport? Pick one and the transmission will learn your driving style over the next few thousand miles. 15K miles on my ‘18 GT with the auto. I leave it in Sport all the time and it shifts great.

Chris Carguy Sport mode you’re driving a different car. Give it a few hundred miles to learn. Be warned the increased throttle response and engine braking are very addicting.

I have a wing on my Mustang V-6. It gives you a point of reference for backing up or when some idiot is riding your tail.

It's great seeing a younger guy enjoying a naturally aspirated American V8 sports car. I'm constantly hearing that Millenials don't care about driving anything let alone performance car like this. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out. Give me high performance V8 any day.

Hi sofyan Bey I saw one of these Ford mustang gt and convertible in the UK because they are cool in my book

I wonder if they got that manual transmission sorted out. I almost bought one last year but on the Mustang forums there were so many issues with broken shift forks and engine ticking/piston slap issues I walked away. I got a C7 Corvette instead. Happy so far.

Awesome video. I am thinking about getting a mustang GT.

Nothing else sounds like that Coyote engine... It's my favorite sounding motor, especially with the new active exhaust. Before you needed to get a Roush system to get that kind of noise (I'd prob still get the Roush system, anyway).

The 10 speed auto is best for drag racing. The Chinese-made Getrag 6-speed manual has had problems with broken shift forks. Of course, the best 6 speed manual is in the Shelby GT350 which is a Tremec. Just like the Corvette, Camaro and Viper.

You are SO correct about the transmission. It ruins the car. I have an ecoboost with the 10 speed and I am selling it due to the automatic. It’s been at the dealership twice to ‘reflash’ the transmission. I can tell you they do not have a fix for this even in November of 2023! Selling it and bought a V8 with a manual.

I'm about to pick up a 19 GT Convertible 10 spd with every option. I have heard that the paddle shifers are quicker than the manual and obviously less work. Being on the cusp of 70 I'll take the automatic.

Would have liked a top up drive ! Just to compare ! Oh wait I'm test driving one tomorrow so I can do top up and down !

$4K more and you can get a Hellcat. Challenger Scat Pack starts around $40K. I've been driving a Mustang around while my Challenger is in the shop and I have to say, I like my Scat Pack better.

I test drove one last night and I have to agree with the transmission, then again I daily drive a Dodge Charger Scat Pack and this is nowhere near the power in the 392 Hemi, but it was a fun drive, but I was not overly impressed.

Sofyan you look super cute in the Mustang, I love seeing how much fun your having driving it too!

Ford needs to fix the GT's manual gearbox so bad, it's a shame it feels broken from the factory. The new V8 is bliss though
