Both are fine trucks but I’ve always liked the silverados more including this one. 2019 Silverado for me.

@@PrimeAutotainment I'm leaning towards it heavily. I hated the front-end of the truck, it looks too narrow in pictures. But in person it's not that noticeable. The 12" display, 19 speakers, the panoramic sunroof and the ride quality. For a guy like me that comes from the luxury sedan word; the Ram make it an easy transition.

Ford owner all my life. Current owner ‘18 Chevy LTZ. Just needed a change. Love it, love Ford too. Can I have both? lol Both have plus and minus features. The Chevy is pure riding comfort beating all my previous Ford Trucks so far. If we could blend the best features of the two, what a truck that would be.

The Ford looks pretty plain, nothing you’d really take a second look at. The Chevy went for a more unique look, you may think it’s ugly but you still looked. I like when company’s go for a new design rather then sticking to an old one. My sister owns the new sliverado and I love it, but that’s my opinion.

Unique look? it looks like Chevy's attempt to appeal to ford fans. It literally looks like a ford with a tundra rear end slapped with chevy emblems. The design is far from original. They seriously took a page out of Nissan's book with the Titan XD. it don't even have square wheel wells like every other chevy truck before.

Chevy hands down. Love the new look and it will of course be a better built vehicle as usual. Ford only out sells Chev pickups because Chev and GMC don't combine the two as a total. Same trucks. Great review by the way. Both trucks are great and I'd take the Ford any day if the Chev didn't exist.

The gills on the Chevy's front end is a deal killer for me

I love Ford and Chevy but Chevy wins this one for me that truck is just awesome! But I love love love the tail lights on the F-150!

Forgot to mention the power up tailgate on the silverado. From the button on the tailailgate, from inside the truck or from the keyfob.

Nolan, Thanks for the comparison. Can you do a COMPARISON on the difference between the Elantra. and the Forte new models fairly equipped. If you can’t manage to get them well, do your car/truck/suv/sports car/classic/bike/super car.

Totally missed the wireless phone charger in the front armrest very nice selling point.

Luv the look on the new Chevy! But to get all the tech , you have to go High Country!

Get a chevy

I was always a Chevy guy. Looked at the new 19s but went with a 502a equipped Lariat. Just thought it was more comfortable.

I have the 17 Silverado and when I bought it i also test drove the f150 but didn’t like the eco boost engines I wanted a v8 and like how the Silverado look.

Of course! That’s the F-150 engine I would get, and the 6.2 is the Silverado engine I’d get too lol

Buy what fits your needs and tastes. All three are in a good place. Personally, I love Ford; however, I have no issue seriously thinking about the other two brands and really it would come down to rebates and comfort for long drives.

What’s with trucks and 22’s? I’ll take more tire any day.

The higher the package the more they try to impress you with the wheel size b/c they’re not trying to sell you on “work” functionality anymore. All the new model trucks have to come w/ 17” wheels b/c of the brake sizes now. You can still find the smaller sizes if you look but “they” (salesmen/ dealers/ manufacturers) are not going to show you those first. Even though the tire size makes more sense for a truck & it’s more economical, they will make more $ off of the bigger wheel packages & in the future YOU will pay more $ for new tires when they wear out. It is only for show, not your comfort.

I just bought a new high country love it and everywhere I go someone always has to tell me it a nice truck. And also I get the question how does somebody so young afford a truck like this? Well ill tell you how. Go to school and work hard. Hard work and dedication can get you far in life.

The High Country is my dream truck. But I still feel like Chevy Could have done better. I think I will wait till the 2021 refresh of this pickup. But either way might pass anyway as someone has to save a whole lot of money for a mid engine Corvette.

$67k each...yikes, I bought a 2018-5.7 Trd off road, sr5, Tundra, for 38k, out the door price. I could almost buy 2 Tundras for the price of one of these trucks. That's crazy... New American brand trucks just cost too much. That aside, your reviews are very informative and unbiased, editing is also very synchronized as you run through the options. Thx.

Ya but Toyota trucks are lacking in just about everything compared to the big 3.

I like the camparo! Even though I’ve commented before, I’d take the F-150 between the two. The front of the Silverado just doesn’t work for me and I don’t think it will age well. I do like the wheels on the Silverado better then the ones on the Ford. The interior easily goes to the F-150. The design of the Silverado is a generation behind and the materials looks cheap. I hope GM got the reliability up on tgeir new trucks. We have had major headaches with the ‘14-‘18’s at the dealership I work for. We currently have 2 in the shop with bad trannys. I’d forgo the diesel and the Platinum trim and get a EcoBoost Lariet with the options.

I love Ford but, unless you’re getting a roush version f150, the rst looks better.

Not seeing many of the new Silverados on the road, still seems like the dealers have a ton of the old body trucks, which I really thought looked better. That Ford 2018 and up grill just doesn’t look as good to me as 2017 back. The crazy part is 67 grand, but if you got it spend it! Think you can do a whole lot better if you don’t get every option. In the end Chevy guys will love the Chevy and Ford guys will love the Ford and RAM guys will hate them both.

Chevy looks too “import” looking...kind of busy ....the ford interior seems nicer IMO. Bigger box on the Chevy is a plus....

I just bought a havana brown high country. This fucking truck is legit. Never going to a normal vehicle again.

I really like the Silverado! Great review of both! I would have gotten one but, that price... But, I bought a 2018 Tacoma TRD 4x4 a few months ago because of fullsize truck prices and lack of anything over 6000 lbs to tow.

Ford makes a good truck,but there's nothing like a Chevy, or a GMC looks better and it's going to last longer

High Country. No brainer for me.

100% Ford I’ve been a ford guy my whole life. Currently Owning a f150 250 and a fusion. All amazing vehicles

I'd have to go with the F-150 because of the tech and the floor mounted shifter.

The new look for exterior chevrolet does grow on you, the interior, not so much.

Something that people might want to consider as well - F-150 is the most American pick up truck of all manufacturers. These lists are compiled every year by independent sources and the F-150 tops all the other trucks on both of the most comprehensive list. The cars.com list is very thorough and it takes everything into account, not just where the truck is made. The vehicle must be made in USA, have the highest American parts content(85% US parts content)and support the most American jobs. As a matter of fact, the F-150 is in the top 10 of the most American vehicles - that includes all vehicles Not just trucks.

6:50 I don’t think the f150 has wireless charging which sucks... I have a 2019 Raptor and it doesn’t have wireless charging🤦🏻‍♂️

F150 looks more like a truck. The Silverado more like a car/truck which appeals more to females. I like the features in the Silverado because they are more usable. Some features like parallel parking and trailer back up assist I would never use. Again. Like all these videos, they never compare apples to apples. The f150 3.5 Ecoboost should have been used and not the diesel. Also the panoramic roof in the f150 is awesome and brings the interior up another level. The Silverado trailboss in Black looks awesome.

ford looks feminine because the design it's not truck like at all for a man it has stick shift in middle and it has chrome around airvent like a woman's truck Chevy does to but the use different chrome plus it's aluminium but despite all this these trucks are better than the new ram

In the end the Chevy will always be worth more

F-150 for me.

All trucks compare similarly when read off a spec sheet. The fact that the F150 is built from aluminum and GM only uses it a sections of the truck and Ford paints the frame snd GM waxes theirs makes a big difference when you live in the rust belt east coast. Also the Ecoboost eats the mighty 6.2, an engine almost twice the size. Another reason to buy a Ford is that it’s built in USA and not Mexico. Theirs a reason Ford sells more trucks and now GM is 3rd behind Ram. GM quality hasn’t been the same since the bailout!

I know ...these are the two they sent. Ford recently sent me a $35k Ranger though lol

The company I work for has GMC 2500 the new Ram with the Cummins and Ford F-150's we have to we get new Fords after 200,000 miles and get new GMC @ Rams every 50,000 I wonder why that is... I've had all 3 in the past 2 years Ford is king for a reason, even the Chevy boys in this company won't work out of a GMC 2500

as a truck driver i delivered to GM and ford hands down ford all the way they put more time in there manufacturering and every truck is tested before approval GM 1 in 10 get tested trust me ive been there,plus the new chevy front ends just looks ridiculous like they put the thing together and oh snap we forgot the bumper,plus GM engines come from china picked up a load of them from Baltimore and took them to Buffalo ny ford's are made in good old Cleveland Ohio took them to Chicago and Kansas city!!! but it's all up to what you like i guess i rather support usa then china but thats just me !!,buy what you like and can afford i say

Out of all three brands Dodge is hands down the nicest. Ford was second best in my opinion and Chevy/GMC are nice but lagging behind the other two.

I'll take the f150 simply because it's made of aluminium...

For $67,000 there both to much money! you can buy a base model with the engine you want and build it better than both of them for much less! That way you also get a truck that is you're own and 1 of a kind? For $67,000 you gotta be stupid!

I live in Canada.. in 2017 I bought my 6.2 Silverado brand new and it cost me 84 000$. It’s expensive living up here! I wouldn’t complain paying 67 000$ lol

Just bought a new F150 and I love it.

Silverados interior is superior although it is not a huge breakthrough it is a refund interior! Very ergonomic. The exterior and the box of the Chevrolet are superior looking and more functional! The box is a lot bigger I have looked at both of these trucks and the measurements on the inside walls of the Silverado are about 6in wider from wall to wall that is a huge huge capacity difference and the hooks tow hooks are much more usable in the Silverado! I would like to see Chevrolet offer air ride or the adaptable shocks

Michael Cavalieri the silverado does not have massaging seats like the Ford so I'm not seeing how the interior is superior. On the exterior the Ford has the better power steps because they actually let down. The silverado steps just let out which does nothing for my 5 foot 0 wife.

redd7188 The Chevy has the ability to have only the back support heated, rear view mirror Camera, a bit more storage, and the heads-up display projector. The power boards come down a little bit I think, but is a truck afterall not exactly aimed at smaller people.But I don’t that counter the larger bed, utility is the main point of a truck. I like the standard built in bed steps too. A pretty nice touch , you gotta pay extra for the Ford step ladder thing and then gotta setup versus just climbing up and getting right to it.

You saying the Chevy is not made for smaller people exposes how much the Chevy is lacking. My wife even struggles to park something this big and the F150 has park assist, where it can park itself.
