My girlfriend, an ex GS racer, always borrows my RTM 81s and loves them. I don't put them in the 'fun' category but if you are ever going to be faced with firm conditions, with maybe some ice, they can't be beat because you will always have an edge - they are not race skis but they work very well in the North East on the front side.

I own the Deacon 84 2020 model year, which is essentially the same ski - it is a out and out blast to ski all over the mountain, even on light pow days it is remarkable versatile - I charged it all over Alta today, ripping groomers, busting crud, bouncing through moguls, dropping over some small cliffs, it can do nearly everything if you can.

I bought them. Got the new graphics. Love them. Im 190 5'11. 44 years old. Im no Moseley and bought the 172s. Kind of wish i went 177 but i turn quick. Best ski i demoed. I get pow out east ill. Just demo souk 7s

Hy. What would you recommend between the rtm84 and the deacon76 for piste skiing and what size do you think would be best for me. I'm 1,74cm and 86 kg. Thanks

Hello! Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend getting a ski between 160-180cm in length and for piste skiing both skis are good but the Volk RTM 84 can definitely work better =)

Thanks for your question! I think finding this ski in good used condition for 100 euros is a great bargain. This ski will still perform as intended if the ski is still in good condition and if you provide the proper maintenance (on and off-season) to enhance longevity and performance. Hope this helps!
