I wish every dealer could be as informative as you guys. Can't wait to see your 2019 Forester comparison.
Well done. Like that you chose different colors to display!
Looking to buying either a limited or premium (hoping limited). This video was super helpful narrowing down my options. I appreciate it!!
Liked your Video. Great job going between the Different Trim Levels. If I lived in Colorado I would buy from you. But it helped me choose the trim Forester Black XT Touring. Too bad it's being discontinued. But I got Mine!!!
SUPER clear and informative. THank you GROOVE Subaru!!!!! The best ever :)
I was able to purchase a 2018 XT Touring in black with brown leather. Really enjoying it.
Very thorough, thank you for the detailed explanation!
Best looking generation of Foresters in my opinion
Awesome, esplained so very well and very clearly
Very informative. Thanks for explaining all of the details!

Toyota 2018 RAV 4
Super useful! Just wish that push button start was a standard option on all levels.
Every trim is your personal favorite!!! so which is which? Also too many trims, so confusing
Thanks for the review. But is the engine larger or just more powerful. 2.5 vs 2.0?
awsome comparison!
Thanks for your information!
so helpful, so informative. thanks
Thanks for the video but wish you had given the estimated prices for all the models you’ve shown.
How much is the subscription to Safety Plus to remote start the car?
Very good with the information
Forester XT Touring ❤️
Good video
I just bought a 2018 forester XT turbo. My 1st time owning a Subaru. Does anyone know if the turbo requires premium fuel or can I keep using 87
Watching from Cameroon🇨🇲
Outside of not offering the XT with a manual transmission, their other mistake was limiting it to a stripped down, no options Premium trim and a decked out Touring trim; They should have at least given the XT Premium the option of Eyesight H/K Sound and it probably would have sold.
um... I'm late to the game on this, I know, but I'm looking at purchasing a used 2018 limited. Isn't the limited the one with the leather boot around the shifter (CVT) and the touring is the plain plastic? In other words, I think you mixed up the touring vs Limited on the 2.5i. I may be wrong but all other research I have done leads me to believe the latter.
The turbo motor is smaller, not larger
Wow. Have to upgrade to touring to get things that are standard on other vehicles.

Except if you want a manual then they aren't available at all.

I wanted the 2018 but going to wait on the 2019 forester. I am waiting on the awesome features with apple carplay that the 2019 has.

Girlsloveforcars I thought the same thing- But ended up picking up the 2018 XT touring. I test drove a 2019 Touring ... gutless and then drove the 2018 XT touring - I was shocked. So, yeah I took the 18 XT... really like it for a smaller SUV type vehicle. It’s my daily driver + snowboard rig.

Yep love my 18 xt. MY2019 looks good but I can do without rear ac vents and 2 xmodes. Xt is supreme for overtaking and towing here in Oz. New one although great would not tick all the boxes 4 me

Ya go with the 2018 man...the 2019 forester is wider and longer pretty much a full size SUV now..the 2018 is a compact SUV way better it weighs less looks better as well
They do not all come with symmetrical all-wheel drive some of them come with a different kind of all wheel drive
The XT is a 2.0 liter. Not larger than the 2.5 liter. XT is turbo charged, providing more HP and torque.
Any of those have Apple car play ?

Works good on my skin
The best! Thanks!
Problem 1: required sunroof except base. Problem 2: CVT required for options. Problem 3: CVT . I guess the base model is the only one worth having.

I have the 2.5i premium and I love it. If you commute or take road trips, the starlink system is awesome. I was so disappointed when Ford discontinued Sync services. It is what drove me away to Subaru.
False advertising. the turbo engine is only a 2.0 not even close. He needs more education on his product.

I have a 2.5 in mine
I don't get it, I was TOLD there is only ONE engine choice for 2018? What?

Agree... very sad Subaru is doing away with the FXT

Yes, but to make it worse, is that I hear different things--that they have TWO, then I hear they have only one, so I end up not knowing what they have, and don't have. I really expect some straight talk from the company.

Did you end up buying a Forester?
@jimquantic

No, waiting for complete and accurate information from Subaru. But most likely will--we start shopping very early in the game, learn all we can, then go forward with what we know to be true information. Right now, I feel only bewilderment--only one engine, or only two engines, etc./all. And EIGHT different iterations--come on, not really interested in learning that much, they should make it easy for me, I am the buyer

Yeah, I agree. Not sure why they made so many trim packages. Earlier lines had the base package, Limited and Sport. I own a 2006 Subaru Forester XT converted to a FSTI, my dream Subie. My friend just bought a 2017 FXT, I'm excited to test drive it and see how it stacks up against mine for ride, comfort and performance since it is a 2.0 L turbo that weighs 500 lbs more vs my 2.5 L. It's a shame Subaru is dropping the XT line but I guess they figure people buying Foresters only care about MPG and not performance which is a shame.
With all these cool features I still can't fit in it. I'm 6 feet tall with knees digging into middle console. What can I say, build by small people for small people.
Why Subaru have so many Trim levels 🤦♂️ lol
For ME, that is way, way too many options--I won't work to become an expert to keep up with all that. Hey, to each his own and I sure won't go to a dealer and find an "expert" to A, confuse me even more and B, LIE, as many do, telling me this or that of EIGHT models do NOT have this or that, when they do. Sorry, pass.
Subaru engines are crap. Reliability has plummeted. Google it!!!! I'm a former Forester owner.
