I have a 2017 6 speed manual mustang ecoboost and im already looking forward to getting a new one in couple of years, thinking v8 but i do love the way the ecoboost drives so that be hard choice when time comes, be like a kid in a candy store lol, v8 be good for sound but petrol is expensive in the uk its £1.20 a litre so possibly just get the new ecoboost with active exhaust, got to be grabber lime, or twister orange or magnetic colour 😅👍👍

13:50 This is actually kind of neat. I've not seen any other big car reviewers ever mention this about the Mustang. I often forget Ford has some neat stuff sometimes.

Put some 3M door edge tape along the entire door. I do that for all my cars including my new 20 mustang eco prem. The base mustang does not have the safety features you talked about. They come in a seperate package for $1000. I got it on mine. No brainer.

Good video dude! where are you from? Its cold and snow here in upstate NY as well blah! i like the mustangs when I was younger I worked at ford and we had a couple of Roush Mustangs and man they are awesome! Great video though keep it up!

Hi Mechonomist. Really enjoyed your review on the Ecoboost!! When you were driving it up there in Michigan, did you have dedicated winter tires (example Michelin X Ice 3's) on it? If so, how did you find driving it in winter conditions? Looked pretty slushy there at the time of this review. I live just outside Winnipeg, Manitoba and winters here can get pretty bad. I would like to hear from you or anyone else on here if they drive their Mustang during the winter months. I don't want to go by what a dealership rep tells me.Thanks!

Thanks! This one just had the factory all-season tires. It handles slush and snow pretty well but I would recommend dedicated snow tires for Winnipeg if you can afford them.

I have a 2017 Challenger and a 2015 Mustang Eco convertible. The Mustang handles much better than the Challenger. The Challenger is meant to be a muscle car not a sports car where as the Mustang is meant to be a sports car.

mustang is such a stunning car... wish to be able to afford one one day... how they say, hope is the last to die :D

Is it safe to drive this car in winters with winter tires as I have heard a lot of negative reviews about RWD car drive in winters. Requesting for some guidance & info. I live in Toronto.

Typically RWD is not ideal in winters however this vehicle is equipped with traction control and a snow mode drive option. Probably one of the best RWD vehicles on the market if you live somewhere with snowy weather.

Your videos are really enjoyable man, you should definitely keep at the reviews. Are you considering adding any modifications to the Cayman? I personally don't like an obscene amount of exterior mods on Caymans, but I do like the gt3 grill vent some people choose to add onto it, and I also think DRLs and LED taillights can transform the look of the car. Obviously this would be quite costly but I think it would make the car awesome. Keep up the content, would love to see vids of you murdering out that Cayman lol

Thanks. I was getting a little nervous dealing with Ford. I've just always wanted a mustang.

The 2016 had sync connect as does the 2018.

Not hard to avoid door dings if you park well.

My 2016 EcoBoost has the glasses compartment, as well as the 2015 model.

Bruno gomes sentone Yeah your right. Whats new here is the words "Mustang" stitched into the back rests of the seats with added cushion, steering wheel is smaller with much smoother leather and the volume and menu control keys have switched sides.

Newer mustangs can be driven in winter no big deal. I had a 2015 and that car did amazing in winter

the gear hunting will lessen as you drive the car and the ECU adjusts.

Totally confused- I thought the 18s had the digital gauge readout. Also, at least on the 17s the large touch screen is only on premium models, but that includes leather seats- this one has cloth?!

chadleyftl the 18s come digital gauge readout with a different package it doesn’t come standard and also the 8 inch comes standard now the 18s kept the same speedo as the 2017 but has some upgrades to it

Edgar Torres no the radio is an upgrade. The ecoboost can have extra gauges but standard is normal gauges still has line lock and launch control track apps etc but the radio is still sync shaker but not touch screen also you can change the center skin on the dash. It has the controllable steering wheel

The digital dash screen is an upgrade. Standard is the two binnacles for tachometer and speedometer, with small digital screen in between. The screen gives you all kinds of information, and some digital gauges (air inlet temp, oil temp, boost gauge).

I like the way you think amd I quote. If you have a family of 4, the mustang is perfect

Handling would have been a step up if you'd gotten the magnetic dampening suspension. Being able to find your car is the same cognitive skills that settlers used to find their covered wagon on the plains. In other words, don't give the shadow government beast system all the information just because it's blingy and convenient.

I agree. I just bought a new leftover 2017 Mustang V-6 with auto trans. I got 100 miles on the odometer and am getting 22mpg around town.

silviano norma Its a great car, i had mine for 3 years and now my lease is up i got this car. The v6 is quick but this ihas considerably more punch from low speeds, i just miss the sound lol

Your Pal This one with an unleashed tune for only $400 puts it at just about the same speed. 480 torque & 350 HP while 300lbs lighter and much better on gas. U justsacrifice sound. Both slower than an SS tho so who cares.

This is a muscle car. The term muscle car comes from high end torque or the aggressive stance, and exterior muscle look to it with a rear wheel drive engine and tranny.

Car is a piece of crap. I’ve had it for 3 years , coils and spark plugs went bad, misfires, transmission fail, and a few more problems .don’t waste your money. Better off getting a GT or a different brand of car
