cjayx I've been at the races ever since they built a track in Austin and in my opinion there is nothing more exciting as far as sporting events go.

I agree. I only wish Camaros would return to GS, and Miatas to ST. But that's what drew me to this series 10 years ago when I first saw it on Speed TV: American & European manufacturers battling it out.

And I would like to add Ford would have swept the podium if the 15-car didn't get overzealous

Joshua C bc COTA has miles of paved runoff that doesn't make races interesting if someone makes a mistake. Loved watching races there in person, hate it on TV

I'm a big Multimatic fan but the 15 deserved a stop and hold for a move that atrocious. Leave it to a stock car guy to do something like that

The stock car guy might have been a bit ambitious but you have to admit the guy had pace. If you are fast you can learn race craft and be a very good driver.

Same here. I was worried TCR would alienate this series from street relevance. But the Audi TCRs really look fantastic and do look like a street car adapted to race. They’re so exciting looking I actually expect it’ll raise interest in this series (and others) by connecting with owners of the street versions.

I"m not that crazy about them, although I agree with Edward that they should go standalone. TCR lacks diversity, it isn't as true to stock (body-wise, they resemble street cars even less than GS and ST). No, give me the days when ST had more manufacturers battling it out. It's too distracting trying to pay attention to that extra class now. Whatever though. I'm outvoted here.

I feel that the 15 car was forced into the grass. The McLaren could have gave them more room they both could have fit in that corner

Justin Gulley the mustang was the one darting around. He was 100% at fault. He out braked himself and got on the grass. There was no gap.

Andrew Fawcett he was only forced to go in the grass because he was cut off, you must not seen the video where 76 car was going down the straightaway on the inside Lane last second for they get into the corner he goes to the outside Mustang goes to the inside the McLaren Cuts him off and go to the inside and forces the Mustang to go in the grass

  • @parsnickenny

Absolutely not. The 15 made a dumb move there. Bad mistake on his part. Whatever happened down the straight was over by then. The Mustang should have held back but he got overzealous. He would have made the position (and possibly won the entire race) if he'd just held back, instead of trying to force the issue. Thank you.
