I am very likely in the minority, but I actually prefer the NBC commentary team over that of Radio Le Mans. Not that the RLM team doesn't do a great job-I just find the NBC commentary more engaging. Of course, I also watch IMSA races via TrackPass, so I don't need to worry about the constant bombardment of commercials which might otherwise turn me off...

Same here from europe i used to have an iptv and the nbc commentators they dont have a clue about Motorsport 😆

GT4 racing is where it's at this year for variety of cars on offer and some excellent track battles. IMSA, get together with Kunos and get an American-centric version of Assetto Corsa Competizione together if you would :)

in the broadcast of these races I miss hearing the sound of the car engines ... it is very low or hardly heard.

..the 35 did it do himself, he hit the BMW entering the turn, which made the BMW hit the Porsche.

Guys, can you watch the feed we're watching? So often, they're going on and on about something unrelated to the on-screen action, and the camera shows us someone throw a rod and fill the county with smoke, or cartwheel into the haybales or whatever, and John/Shea cheerily go on about whatever tangential thing they were talking about! Great racing, in any case.

Did anyone else notice that one of the turner racing bmws had its right side mirror hangin off?

24:53 Curse of the commentator. But actually it was the 35 AMG that rear-ended the 26 BMW causing it to hit the 7 Porsche. 34:26 Lol the curse of the commentator for the 2nd time.

Not in truly traditional sports car racing. Multiple classes define it.

No, but there's NASCAR. It's not actual racing, but it has race cars in it, and it's single class. ;) Also, there are *two* classes in this race. They're not hard to keep track of.

IMSA also has GT3 Cup Challenge all the cars are Porsche GT3 Cup racecars

There are two classes in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge; Grand Sports (GS) and Touring Car (TCR). It's sports car racing which as mentioned in the comments... is traditionally multi-class racing.
