Wow that bus is so cool. I love bus vids like these thanks so much. It’s weird how it has no emergency windows but I guess with 2 doors it’s good 😂. It does have a back exit window though.

@@josephmodhu5633 I know the driver of bus 7. She is a trip/utility driver like me. We seldom do trips together. I think her bus is the same capacity as my old bus #40. A 65 passenger 2008 Blue Bird. I will have double check that info.I think.

The electric school bus in Fremont unified school district looks like bus 24 and bus 25 bus 24 and bus 25 is Fontana unified school district

This is a 76 pax bus? I thought it would be 75 or 78 3 to a seat. What is the seating configuration? I like the length on these two 2018’s you guys have. The 245” wheelbase is nice. 38’ is nice size for a transit, especially in tighter streets or like up in the mountain areas. The BB T3RE I drive now is a 259” wheelbase 78 pax, 39’ transit which makes the turning radius pretty good compared to the 277” on my Thomas HDX I drove before lol. Love the videos btw! I’m at Visser now, Bus 33, so if I see you out there I’ll say hi!

The 76 passenger capacity is off the vehicle approval certificate in each bus. Why a 76 capacity is beyond me. I will watch for bus 33, where are your routes?

@@jonusle2937 oh that is weird. I know sometimes CHP can make a mistake. Or sometimes the factory makes a mistake. We have a BB that has 13 rows on each side, 3 seat belts on each seat for 78 total but for whatever reason Blue Bird printed 81 on the tag by mistake. I guess human errors do still happen 😂😂 …and I’m not doing a route yet, just trips for right now. So I’m all over the place. I’m sure I’ll see ya out there somewhere! Haha

Strobe Lights and Crossing Arms vary by state to state?

Correct, California does not require crossing gates on buses because we escort K-8. By the time the students hit high school they knew how to cross correctly. Strobes are for places that get fog.

@jonusle2937 Interesting! I work for a school district in Coastal GA., and buses are required to have crossing gates and strobe lights. We just received our first batch of EVs for the area per the Federal Grant.

@@rmatt24 that should be interesting since Proterra just filed bankruptcy. I haven't seen any Electric C2's in California yet. Curious about their range between charges.
