Very nice. I like how the new exhaust spit at the end. I had to make sure I actually saw what I saw so I watched that part again and it did spit.

That sounds perfect. I want a good sound without it being overpowering.

The WRX midpipe makes it sound exactly like our WRX

this sounds awesome!! I have the muffler deletes on mine, but I am now inspired to get a wrx mid pipe or swap my WRX mid pipe to my wife's car. great video!! just subbed!!

So the wrx midpipe just goes into the stock forester midpipe?

That’s not muffler delete. You got the nameless axle backs with the mufflers still. They have them without the muffler behind the tip. I’m thinking about doing this mod

If you get the nameless mufflers they come with new bolts n gaskets so just use those

yup you'd just need an exhaust hanger welded to the bottom of the driver's side to support a dual exhaust setup

I just added these mufflers to my xt. They sound good. The make a weird noise that sounds like air when above 4500. Im saving for the midpipe. Whats better the wrx one or the sti one? Thanks.

I think the mid pipes are the same but I could be wrong. Check the part numbers and see if they're different or not

Chuck, I do also have a 17 forester 2.5i. I talked to a shop that specialized in it.. and they say its possible with possible slight mod to the exhaust. They said possible because they've never done to a 2.5i before only swap between forester xt and wrx. I am gonna go talk to them in person and see what they say.. but might have to order the XT nameless exhaust and not the 2.5i

Is an axleback system with a midpipe essentially a catback?

Turbo whistle will come more from an intake upgrade and bypass valve upgrade from my experience and yes it's the Boomba BPV

With the midpipe it is slightly and I mean very slightly louder imo

The I believe that the engine timming is affected too because the exhaust gases are going out faster since theres less restriction, meaning that the piston will push the exhaust gases in the exhaust cycle with less pressure again due to the less restricted exhaust .

HERCFitness i would take my car to a subaru shop or tunning shop to see what they tell you but be aware of cheap mechanic shops cause they know nothing. By the way im an airplane mechanic thats why haha

i see that you did not have any issues with fitment. I am running into an issue where my wrx mid will not pair up with my forester xt nameless deletes.... just ordered longer hangers. know any other reason why my exhaust has a gap between both?

@@TheHumanCarJack yeah, I just redid it all (had to anyways, midpipe spring bolts were bent, bought new ones) but yeah I got it to mate to the axlebacks but the midpipe hanger is super compressed and the axle back tips were super slammed against the top of the exhaust/bumper cutouts. Think longer hangers will help

I think it would and I bet if you order direct from nameless and it doesn't fit I'm sure they'd swap it out for the wrx one for you

Larger exhausts are great on stick shift rides. On automatics you will lose bottom end.
