I still remember people hating on 2007 civics, they sold like crazy and the resale value is still high 10 years later... I for one like this facelift. Its dearing and fresh.

So I guess I'm the only one who likes the headlights 🤷🏿‍♂️

why not get all the opportunities to blame everything on the big bad german right? ffs, as if skoda doesn t have an history of seriously bad designs. the new Seats look stunning, the next yeti has been seen testing and its a tiguan with a skoda front, heck, why would they even released the kodiaq, but doesn t matter right? why blame on the brand that has loved quirky designs since forever, lets all bark and join the worlds favorite hobby, blame germany (and i m not german btw)

i didn't like it at first when i saw the split headlights but i changed my mind it actually looks really good

the front looks like the old E-class

It looks like someone took an axe to the old pair of headlights and the wounds just healed to become the new facelift.

Norbert Havran Should we expect the next line of BMW to be rubbish? The guy apparently did the Veyron (amazing car but the exterior design was kinda dodgy) and the new Skodas that turned to be more and more awful (Octavia 2 with facelift was the best looking). It's like he realized he ruined the design of the brand and abandoned ship. Meanwhile the latest BMW although some seemed bland were nice to look at and definitely better than the old Bangle design (except the 1 series, that was bad and now it's shit!).

What's awful about the Octavia 3, new Fabia 3 and Superb 3 and Kodiaq? Sales have gone through the roof in virtually all markets, and the Superb is stunning. It's also not just about looks, the quality is class leading too, scaring the so called premium brands.

That is how you do an intro video. Specs, everything, while the voice-less commercial plays in the back. Unlike other channels where its only the voice-less commercial, without voice over or any additional information. This is why carwow wins subscribers.

Taxi drivers have great taste in reliable cars, it's almost like their income depends on it..

The base model is equipped like a clio from 2003. This car costs around 25 grand if you want any sort of extras and well over 30k if you spec it out.

This looks like a Chinese copy of the old E-Class before its face lift.

I do like it. It's definitely better than the old one, but VRS model did fit better with the old styling. :)

Call me odd but I like the new headlights. They aren't as good as the old ones, but they're not bad. It makes it look almost Swedish.

I don't understand how anyone thought that the headlights were a good idea, especially after Mercedes excised those lamps from the ridiculously extensive E-class facelift. The Hitler-tache that houses the radar on the grille is also noteworthy and very embarrassing.

The car should be featured on 'Botched' on TLC XD. Aside that, Skoda is way better than VW for city and family cars.

Any idea where this was filmed? I loved the headlights on the last one (so much I was kinda embarrassed to tell anyone) but I hate these ones, yuck! I can finally stop thinking about whether getting an Octavia is a maybe a good idea and refocus on MX-5s and hot hatchbacks

Why, why, why? Finally for a long time Škoda has some really fine desing on their cars. And then this face"lift". The head light doesnt fit anything else on the cars body. Its like badly tuned teenage car. If you really have to lift up the face, let the cars original designer do it. Not your nephew!

I was waiting for Skoda to change those numbers around tacho and make them horizontal, then they did this.

Looks like Skoda can't do a decent facelift to save their lives. The Mark 2 Octavia facelift was a lot less attractive from the front than the original design too. Thankfully as the driver you're the only person who won't have to look at it provided you always reverse it into your driveway.
