    Lol. Yeah, the only thing I can think is for the stunt stuff. I had a ktm Duke 390 a while back. It had abs and everytime I went out to do wheelies, the light would come on. It also made rear brake control a bit wack for the wheelie game. But otherwise, I'd prefer abs for safety all day.

    That’s a boss bike for sure!! Straight gangster! You picked up one of the few unique ones out there. I have started to see more stock low riders S hit the market here in California. All look the same. I have found a lot of them have liens too. Finding the right low rider is tough though, slim pickings and the good ones usually go fast as hell. It took me 2 months searching to find my low rider. Interested to see what the market will look like on these bikes in a couple years.

    My hd 48 came with the same full rear fender, and tail light. I think I have only seen 4 of them total (on the internet and 1 in person), and did't know until a few days ago that guys absolutely love those rear fenders! My next bike will either be a Softail Fatbob, or a Dyna Lowrider S, but maybe not in that order because I need all 3 bikes forever.😂😂 You missed a bunch of stuff he did like the LED fuel gauge (they are expensive), the led head and tail light and a bunch of little things hehe

    I’d definitely mob around on it. But the dual gauges are one of my favorite details Aesthetically on the low rider. I’ve come around on the rear fender and tail light. I used to not like it. It sucks now that I’m on a bagger I gotta carry my ezpass instead just flipping down the plate

    Thanks, man! I'm not sure on the height. I wanna say 10 or 12 inch risers. I'll have to measure em when back at the house. They're a bit tall for me at 5'8". I think 8" would fit me a bit better.

    How does this bike feel riding compared to your streetbob? Mostly interested about the +2" fork tubes and slightly taller shocks. I've got an FXDLS and want the Topline tubes also, but not sure about the +2". On my stock suspension I'm scraping my Royal T exhaust and want to raise the bike a bit to avoid that when blasting corners.

  • @JonsMotoGarage

    @JonsMotoGarage

    I'll scrape the street Bob exhaust easy if not being careful. I haven't gotten a ton of seat time on the fxdls yet, but I can tell it's got a much better lean angle. Sits higher and feels like scraping a peg would be very challenging. The street Bob feels like it's slammed in comparison. Lol.

    Hey Jon, Don't know if you can help me, but I live in Spokane,WA., Last time I tried to sell a motor cycle I used Craigslist and the little auto, motor cycle sales rag that I used to use back i n the 70's and 80's. Back in the day just in the paper press rag, I never had to wait more than a week to sell a bike, but now 2 months to sell a Harley 48 with 5000 miles near perfect condition,lots of upgrades, for $5200. The only draw back was that it was a 2010 and sold in 2018, so a little bit older. I look at Craigslist at other bikes and if they are a little high they don't sell, as for me I felt like that Harley 48 was a give away price.What do you think I was doing wrong? Or is that the way things are in the second decade of 2000's? Thanks Jon.

    7:59 Yooooo dude you make a little mistake on the Ohlins model. Its HD764 (the HD754 is for sportsters)..... unless Thor choose HD754 on purpose. I got the same shocks on my Dyna, but sometimes in hindsight I wish I got the HD762 but the shop didnt have it. Apologies for the nerding, even back when I was skating I would go on tangents about trick terminology such as "Frontside Indy's DONT EXIST. ITS CALLED A FRONTSIDE AIR!" and "Overcrooks are only backside, theres no such thing as frontside overcrook, just steezed-out frontside nosegrinds." Dammit skatelife carrying over to bikelife a bit too well hahaha. PS I love your videos man. I live in Thailand and when you upload your vids, Im watching them and having morning coffee getting ready to get my day started!

    Hahaha! No worries for "nerding out." Lol. My bro is much the same. I was always horrible with all that. I just went off the info he sent, but you're probably correct. Are the 762's a bit taller? I think the 14.5" would be dope. Is it just me, or does all the dyna stuff seem like the natural extension to skateboarding? Lol. I'm finding that lots of these dudes used to skate or ride bmx. Much thanks for the support, brotha!

  • @BKKgrind

    @BKKgrind

    5 жыл бұрын

    LOL this is where I didnt do my research but from what the shop told me when they installed the Ohlins for me (Warranty).... Actually I take that back, just did my research and the 762s are lower than the 764s. Honestly I'm really surprised but it really seems like that, the creativity more than anything. I cant really pinpoint what exactly it is that makes us go towards Dynas.... maybe its the "all-around" aspect of it like a BMX bike... its not as fast on the road as a roadbike, its not as fast down trails as a mountain bike, Not as big of airs as Freeride bikes, and not as Agile or as nimble as Trials bikes, but they are THE most fun thing ever to ride. Even a skateboard isnt as ideal of a ride when compared to a longboard, but man you can have so much fun just messing around on just a skateboard and a curb. Pretty much what Theofreakindore said about having a bike that does everything kinda ok versus a bike that does only one thing really really good. Jamie Thomas kickflipping over a Harley - that was a Dyna Greg Lutzka sponsored by Bassani and rides a sick Cali-clubstyle Dyna. Leo Romero on a Dyna Wide Glide I think. Owner of ACE Trucks rides a FXDXT Fids also on a Dyna so much more!
