its great, the only thing i would say is that its very economical around town, but on a motorway journey its worse than a 1.6 imho

Love my Focus estate. Would never have a B.lasted M.oney W.aster!🙂

What do you think of the 1.5 ecoboost version 148 bp? Worth getting or stick to the 1.0

How is the 1.0 Eco boost on motorways with the speed around 60mph

we have just had a car gou out in which we had done over 200 miles in, the new owner filled it up at the fuel staion and the engine management light came on and it went into limp mode, coincidence? i think not!

Very poor MPG, rough running, and engine feels sluggish

I had 62 reg Ford focus 1.0l EcoBoost titanium. I found it very sluggish and slow and wouldn't hold speed on cruise control and without on motorway on steep hills. Maybe I just had a bad car had 95000 miles on clock.

Maybe it needed a service ?

The 1.0 3 cyl.ecoboost had bad rep for failing. Ford replaced a lot of engines under warranty..I'm sceptical of how long small 1 litre 3 cylinder turbos will last. BMW's aren't that reliable as they have so much tech there's more to go wrong.

its like anything else when you try to get something to do too much, it breaks. and its why you dont use a little hammer to knock a big nail in. they are alright round town and the fuel economy is good, but as soon as you get on the motorway the fuel economy drops to less than a 2.0 Litre

The flashing monitor is too distracting
