Just bought a 16 plate fiesta titanium x similar to this for my first car :) Very excited to get out on the road in it soon

I have the same spec car Barrie. A good review which brings over what a great little car the Fiesta is. The Titanium X is definitely the model to have, as being top of the range comes with all the extras. The seats are actually half (real) leather which are very comfortable.

thanks for watching and putting me right on the leather, we have to be so careful these days with describing cars as if you say something wrong, you can be made to buy the car back or fit the option that you said it had, Mercedes have to options Artico Leather (Plastic) and Leather we have been told many times by customers that their car has got leather which is an expensive extra cost option and makes the car worth more only to find out when they bring it in it has plastic. :-( anyway thanks again,

it's incredible how Ford can power such a range of cars from a Mondeo to a Fiesta with such a punchy little 1 litre ecoboost, and such a great video as always.

learned to drive in one of these via AA and really liked it so i'm saving up to get one hopefully in the future driving a Saxo for the time being.

My fiesta uses a quarter of a tank of fuel for 60 miles is that excessive ?

I've had one of these for 2 years, I'm thinking of getting the MRK7 St, shall I exchange it or keep it? Looking for more sportiness, even though I love my ecoboost, it doesn't quite feel quick enough anymore:(

DELTA GAMES So true, the ST is my dream car at my age though, at least I worked up the Fiesta ladder as such, I’ve got my ST now and couldn’t be happier, I’m also happy someone else is driving my 1.0L because it was fantastic

Great review, thank you. I’m looking to get a Fiesta soon (2015/2016) and not sure whether to go for a Zetec or Titanium model. My biggest concern with the Titanium is if having the larger 16” alloys will significantly affect ride quality, as the roads near me have quite a few potholes. So, is the Zetec with 15” wheels that much smoother ride, or should I get the Titanium with more goodies? Cheers.

From memory the car with the smaller wheels does more mpg, the bigger wheels look better, the smaller wheels are a slightly nicer ride, less chance of a wheel going out of round if you hit a pothole, snd tyres are cheaper to replace

either of those cars are a great choice but you tend to get a little more for your money with a Ford, better specification etc, just get the lowest mileage with the best service history you can and make sure that you check its mot history on line to make sure it didnt pass ita last one by he skin of its teeth and that you will have a big bill on the next one, Ford KA and Fiesta good and cheap to run

yep I had a "Paint Technician" (Car Cleaner) telling me off and saying he would never buy a car off me and neither should anyone else because i sit on the bonnets, and i could have keys in my back pocket and damage the car, :-)

Hi Barrie, great video👍. I’m currently looking at buying my first car and I’ve been looking into a Fiesta Titanium X like this or a 2011 Focus 1.6 TDCI Titanium X. I was just wondering which of the two you prefer, I’d imagine the focus would be a bit more comfortable.

David Best first car probably better with the Fiesta, as it will be cheaper to insure, but both good cars

Barrie Crampton that is true, the fiesta is cheaper to insure but then more expensive to buy compared to the focus so they end up being virtually the same cost all in. I just feel the fiesta may feel a bit out of place on the motorway with it being a smaller car

David Best fiesta will also be worth more when you come to sell it, and be easier to sell too, as i said both good cars, all down to the one you prefer also if you are only doing short trips the diesel may not be so good if its one fitted with a DPF filter

@@BarrieCrampton Haha no of coarse not... I miss engine sounds like that. I have a brand new Nissan X-Trail ST-L 4WD which of coarse is CVT so no nice sounding gear changes etc there...

Hi Barrie, please help! I bought a 2013 fiesta titanium x. Drove quite far for it so had too much in my head at the time. When I got home I remembered that the parking sensors / camera never came on. I thought they were standard in a titanium x so didn't double check with the seller either. I obviously need to get back in the car to see if it's in the settings for me to turn on maybe??? But am I right that the parking sensor / camera are standard in this trim? Thanks for the video and reply in advance!

not sure it may be an extra cost option when new, but easy way to check is just look near the handle for the tailgaate and see if you can see a camera lens

Hi Barrie, I wanted to know how do you engine break when downshifting at a roundabout and how do you know when to change gears up. I am a fairly new driver and like your style of driving. Plz comment thanks.

thanks, just change down let your foot of the clutch and the engines (compression) braking effect will slow you down as no fuel being sent to the engine, no forward motion or components being driven, so speed is scrubbed off with out touching the brakes. Thanks for watching (ps if you can anticipate what the traffic in front of you is doing and let the car slow down of its own accord then you will get more miles to the gallon, if you have to brake then basically you are wasting fuel and putting wear on discs and pads so costing you money

I have to say I like them both, i suppose I am a little bit biased towards Vauxhall (well Opel Really) but the Fiesta is actually probably a better car

It depends on insurance the best choices are either 1 litres or 1.2 litres

Don’t sit on the bonnet with those Jeans 👖 on .... joking apart I used to have a neighbour who would casually stroll over whenever I bought another car and had a lovely bunch of keys that hung off his belt ... yes you know the type .. and would sort of lean up the side of whatever car I had whilst talking ... I’m sure it was on purpose so in the end I’d move away to a safe distance.... great video 👍

Hi yes they do, the camera is really good, also has assisted parking (ie parks itself) heated seats/steering etc the full works. mine is 1.0 L turbo 6 speed box it’s really punchy, and loads of fun to drive.

Production of the Ford Fiesta is coming to an end in June 2023
