We just traded our 2007 ESV (200k miles) for a new ESV. 3 kids, 2 dogs - 3 rows plus 4 feet of space and we travel often. It can't be beat and we cannot imagine driving anything less. Lots of haters on here ... but in real life we are complimented almost every time we park somewhere because it is beautiful. I don't understand why it's compared to Japanese and German luxury SUVs ... they are cute, but way too small. Different class of vehicle.

i always lol when people say this is a rebadged chevy. when it uses its own switch gear, its own suspension, its own interior architecture, its own interior material palate (nappa leather, suede, wood, ect), it has its own unique sound dampening, and to top it off the suburban does not even get the 6.2L V8.

justin bouche You're right, it's not just an upgraded Tahoe/Suburban. It's more of an upgraded Yukon Denali. With a nice dose of wood, leather, and slightly better noise cancellation. ;)

Jamel Moore well, it also does not use the same interior architecture, nor does it use the same suspension settings, nor does it use the same exhaust system, nor does it use the same material palate, nor does it share the same luxury tech.

The Lexus LX 570 is truly a nice pick comparatively to the Cadillac Escalade. The Lexus LX's interior is impeccable - down to the smallest details like the automatic climate control seats - or the tailored interior. The vehicle is just magnificent.

Wait till you drive one. Awesome on the road. Comfort, quiet, & powerful. Keep in mind, This is one of the largest SUV on the road. U can gat the Tahoe size one, which may be a little easier to park/maneuver. The difference is a couple/3 ft grocery room. My boss has one and says on the road, gets in the mid 20's mpg. They all come with cylinder deactivation. It's seamless. U do not feel it. When power is not needed, this V8 shuts down 4 cylinders. Also, if the Escalade is s little out of ur range, ($), l suggest look at the GMC Yukon Denali, or even the Suburban Premier. They both come Hard loaded & are similar to the Escalade. These are not cheap though. Not long ago, could buy a decent home for what these cost. If u have a large family though, there really convenient/nice to have. Trust me, go drive one, u'll want it.

Yes, but if you want 9 passengers, you have to move to the base models of the Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban, and the GMC Yukon/Yukon XL.

Hey Cameron. This is Cadillac of GM's big SUVs and it certainly shows why on the inside and outside. This makes the Tahoe interior look really low buck considering that the Tahoe Premier is about 15k less than this one.

Nice vehicle but a usual GM decided to cut corners when the powers that be decided that going with the Jurassic era shift column would be good enough, where this car should have either a high-quality rotary or electronic push button selector. In an SUV at this price point, it this is totally inexcusable as it looks like a poorly executed and compromised afterthought. Also, GM dropped the ball once again by not offering a panoramic sunroof.

Well, that's certainly your prerogative. These things can easily spec out north of $100,000. If I was to pay that amount of coin for one, I'm going to get every single thing I wish for and I certainly will not settle for what is essentially the same shift column lifted from a 1970 Chevy C10 pickup.

The Platinum is the top of the line trim, but many people don't choose higher end trims simply because it's too expensive.

I think 90 thousand it's too much for this vehicle,It's a nice vehicle but that's too much money. The 2017 chevrolet tahoe is way cheaper and. Has a lot more features than this one. If i would spent that much money for an SUV I'll just add up a lil more money and go for the Land Rover autobiography.

First impression is like looking an FBI, CIA, or could it been Mafia indside the car and driving it, but honestly this cadillac is the coolest thing after the Hummer H2 , Mercedes G Class and Ford Raptor or F150 for large car class, but its not as luxuryous as volvo xc90 excellence or range rover autobiography...
